I resisted the whole "sub ohm" thing for a while. Because it seemed dangerous, and because reading so many posts on here it seemed like a fad that was just for kids who wanted to blow clouds. I've enjoyed vaping from the get go, but always found a little something lacking that I couldn't put my finger on. I've gone from egos to an MVP with a nautilus/protanks to an iStick to an eGrip and was fairly satisfied with all those things…until I wasn't. Something was always missing, and my satisfaction level would drop off.
I'm currently using a Kbox most of the time with a subtank nano and a couple of RDAs (mutilator and TOBH). I'm not super sub ohming….my builds seem best at about .65 to .75, the tank of course is .5. And I'm running a consistent 35 w on my Kbox. I am also using the aspire sub ohm batteries some, which are fine but I like being able to control the wattage. And I'm getting what I was missing before. Warm, thick vapor, good taste. I LOVE the airy draw and being able to inhale directly into my lungs, it feels so much more satisfying somehow. I've been using the tank for out and about, and my RBAs at home, and as much as I didn't want to fool with dripping at the beginning, I can't wait to get home and use them now. The taste is so much better and I feel much more satisfied with the vapor. I don't see ever really needing to go above the 40 watts that the kbox puts out, and I like a smaller device vs a huge box mod. But I'm happy with the vape I'm getting, and I don't want a cigarette which is what it is all about. I'm also on 6mg of nicotine vs 18mg just a couple of months ago.
I don't understand some people's need to nitpick, complain about, and judge how others vape. Do we not have enough problems from antz and ignorant people without being our own worst enemy? Everyone is different, and as long as they are happy with their vaping it does not matter what anyone else thinks. In fact, it's no more anyone's business how I vape than how I do anything else in my personal life. Some of the "these kids today, sitting in the vape shop blowing those naughty clouds, with their hippity hoppity and their sub ohm coils, they need to get off my lawn!" comments that I read on here kinda reek of snobbery, which is unfortunate. (Not talking about the OP, that was a legit question, but it seems like any time the topic of sub ohm vaping comes up, people feel the need to chime in in a negative way and argue for the sake of arguing, which I just don't understand.)
