One battery or two?

Is there an advantage to using one battery instead of two in a Vamo or mechanical mod?
I see that many will take two 18350's or one 18650 and just want to know if there are advantages to using just one.

You have to take more care when stacking batteries. There's more potential for problems. It's not necessarily an issue as long as you pay attention and take reasonable care. But, it just plain makes a lot of people nervous.

you have to pair them and be very careful to keep them in pairs, label them right, etc,,,,,,

The advantage is greater voltage supply. In a vamo that means better high voltage stability and in a mech it means higher voltage output.

However it does add an element of risk that personally I see no reason to add.

The Vamo is electronically controlled, so two 18350's is OK, no other configuration is acceptable. 2 18350 or 1 18650 gives you longer run time!
