One Cigarette contains 15-25 MG of nicotine??

I was reading on the site listed below and it stated that the average cigarette contains 15-25mg of nicotine. I was under the impression that a cigarette have 1-2mg from reading posts on this forum the past couple of years. Check it out:

i used to use nasal snuff and a good snuff contains about 30mg of nicotine per gram .cigarettes weigh about a gram so yes way more than 1.5 mg. the 1.5 mg is what you actually absorb.

The cigs I smoke contain .8mg per cig.

As I understand it, a cig has a LOT more nicotine in it than you are able to absorb; most of it is wasted.
