Hello Everyone,
One month ago I was coughing and hacking every morning when I got up and now.....just wondering where my coffee and PV is...
Never in a million years could I have thought that I would be without
analogs...for even two hours...When I knew I couldn't "smoke", I would
always search for a place to "smoke"...Somehow, get a puff or two in
before having to leave somewhere...
One month ago, I started this thing called "vaping",,,,I and my family
is so so happy that I did...and so do I....
Thanks Everyone one of the members on this forum...You all are so
great...
All My Thanks,
PaulCincy...(Forever a Noobie)

Kudos, Paul!

While I haven't completely stopped analogs (down to 4-6 a day) even that for me (a former 30+ a day smoker) is a huge victory and not anything I thought I could ever do.

I only tried to stop once and lasted about 26 hours (including 8 hours sleep) and it was so awful I thought: I'd rather be dead from smoking than go through this. Like you my life totally revolved around smoking, where I could smoke, where I couldn't, how long would I be in that non-smoking environment, etc.

I would be SO STRESSED out before getting on a long distance flight that I would try to smoke myself sick before boarding. I even gave up a business opportunity about 2 years ago because it required a 14+ hour flight to China.

The way I look at it: smoking is like being in jail and my e-cig was the key.

Continued success!

I think you've got it whipped, now.....best of luck to you! Best of Health.
Yanks21, yes you can...give yourself Big pat on the back, you may just need some time to relax with it all.
I couldn't stand the smell of a cigarette after my e-cig, first day, no smokes. After 44 years of 2-3 PPD was sort of a miracle I think.

Thanks, Kate! I am relaxing with the whole thing that's why I'm still having a few analogs per day. ;) Telling someone (especially yourself) you can't have something is the surest way to make 'em want it even more.

I actually don't care all that much if I never get off cigs completely. I know I should but I don't.

I know, same way with diets! Doc says cut down on salt, first place I go is Subway for a double-bacon footlong BLT.
