Ok, I started vaping about 2 weeks ago... Now my mom wants to try to vape her way off of analogs.... soooo..... Although I've been reading TONS of great info on the boards, and I feel somewhat comfortable recommending to her what to get, I wanted to run it by others since I'm far from an "expert"

To qualify her, $$$ is limited... She's EXTREMELY technologically illiterate... So, simple is best... She's not going to be dripping or building coils!!!!

My thoughts are:

MVP 2
w/ either a Mini Nautilus <OR> w/ 2 Protank 2's... If she goes with the nautilus, then she'll have to get one more tank in the near future so she can have her tobacco flavor in one and whatever yum yum she's alternating with in the other...

I have both the above tanks, but not for long enough to feel confident in recommending one... I love my nautilus, but even with the BVCs it seems finicky... Best off just ordering a couple Protanks and a bunch of heads???

Thanks in advance!!!

Agreed I have an mvp2 I used it for my startup setup with a regular sized nautilus tank it's easy dependable and allows her to narrow down her sweet spot with vv or VW and the air control on the tank. Also long battery life and no special charger so if hers quits working it's easy to replace with a different micro USB Charger. I have sense moved on to a different device but have kept it as my backup

I'm in the same boat as you....been vaping for about 2 weeks. I'm on the cusp of buying my first all clone mod setup to build my own coils. Mostly because I love tinkering and I do have my bachelors in electronic engineering so I truly understand ohms law!! Lol

I started out with the MVP2 and am still using it today with a Nautilus tank. One think I don't like about this tank is that it whistles on the biggest air hole...lol. I do agree with these guys that it would be a great mod for her! Long battery life as well!! Highly recommend!!!!

I'm probably going to get crucified for this suggestion, but here's my :2c:

LOVE the idea of the MVP. If the MVP is too klunky, look at the VV3. Same features, just a lower battery life. I also LOVE my EVOD tanks. They are no-brainers when it comes to filling, replacing a coil, sticking on the MVP and firing away. They are relatively inexpensive, and the coils can be had for moderately good prices (unless you learn to SAFELY rebuild them for Mom. Then the coils are dirt cheap. $1 for a bag of cotton; $6 for a 100' spool of kanthal. I figure I can get upwards of 400 coils built from that.)

For a little bit more money, you can spring for the mini ProTank II. Being glass, less subject to juices messing with the tanks. I have at least a dozen EVODs - and 80% of them are already loaded with different juices so I can quickly switch flavors (I'm a little ADD when it comes to what I want to vape at any given second :D)

Glad you're there to help Momma :) Hope you both can find what you like.

I have 2 Kanger Evods (cheap) and 2 MVP's for my wife and I. The Evod tanks work very well on the MVP but at a lower wattage than my Nautilus Mini, which I keep at 10watts. The Evod tanks are around $6 and I have 7 tanks for the different liquids I have on hand.

I have a couple of Pro Tanks coming in the mail. From what I've read, they can leak and gurgle a little but they take the same coil as the Evod.

Or the iTaste vv. I have one and love it
I'm with you I'd recommend the itaste vv over Ego hands down everyday. Simple yet give some growth potential. And no special charger needed. That and egos have issues with the twist to change voltage or breaking to easy
