I have a Prodigy on order, so I have not actually tried it out yet, but I would have to guess, based on other's report/reviews, that the Prodigy would top the performance of the SD because it vapes at 5 volts. Plus the Prodigy has multiple adapters available for different atomizers, so there is a lot of versatility there.

I am on the puresmoker site and I see Prodigy v1, but quite a few versions for it. The 510 is the way to go?

Did you order the bypass too? I can imagine my dad being in front of his tv and near his computer and save his battery life by using the USB plug.

Yes.

I went back and ordered the passthrough as well on a separate order. I've seen *many* folks who ordered the passthrough alone (lower cost than the Prodigy itself), based on the fantastic performance reviews, and just maybe went back later to order a stand-alone Prodigy. You can order the passthrough with whatever adapter suits your fancy, then add your own atomizer and cartridge. The puresmoker passthrough is basically just a fancy, high-performance battery with a good beefy cord that plugs into USB (or USB-adapted DC plug or portable power pack). I have heard nothing but fantastic things about the PS passthrough, which is great, since the two 510 passthroughs I've tried totally sucked--I am happier with my 510 on a freshly charged manual battery *by far*.

I have both the Prodigy and the Screwdriver. Both are two of the best, if not the best, PV's made. Both give great throat hit and long battery life and are well built and hold up. Both use batteries (different type batteries, however) that cost only about $2 and can be bought on non-ecig sites such as Battery Junction. I can strongly recommend either one. Here are some of the differences:

Prodigy (PD) = 5 volts; Screwdriver (SD) = 3.7 volts - 4.2 volts. You do get more of a hit with the PD but not so much more that the SD's hit is not also still good.

The PD's batteries last about 4 hours whereas the SD's battery last 6-8 hours. The PD seems to only work with the specific battery provided whereas the SD will work with any 3.6/3.7v rcr123a battery.

The PD is bigger than the SD but the PD's button is more natual than the SD.

Both PV's have adapters to allow you to use 801 or 901 atomizers. I only like the PD with the 801 atomizer and the SD with the 901 atomizer. I think the power is too much on the PD for the 901 atomizer and thus kills 901 atomizers to quick and has a burnt taste. I think the power on the SD is best suited for the 901 atomizer.

Hope this helps. With either one, you will have gotten one of best PV's on the market.

Thanks for the info Enfield, what juice are you on now?

Lately, I've been doing my all-day vaping on either flue-cured (any), RY4 (any), or cappuccino (Parked's is the best!). I've done RY4 for the past several days, so today I switched to flue-cured. Peach is a nice fruity change-up once in a while (hmmm, I've got apricot snuff in my nose right now, peach vape would probably go great with that). I've never been much into menthol smoking or vaping (just personal preference), but I don't mind a touch of menthol in my snuff. I usually vape 24 mg/ml, sometimes 18 mg.

Yes, I do the occasional Swedish snus in the lip, too.
I wonder what other orifices I can get nicotine into...:p

wv2win,

PD 801
SD 901

You never tried the 510 atomizer on these?

No, never saw the need to make my life more complicated with ANOTHER atomizer to keep track of, lol. I think the 510 atomizer is similar in size to the 901. I'm pretty well set now with the SD and PD. The only thing I might try, mainly as a back up or if I occassionally feel the need to be more discrete (rarely, lol) is when the new manual batteries come out for the standard 901 and 801, I might get a couple to try.

Where is the cheapest place to buy syringes? Because my old man love it, but wants to dilute the juice a little bit.
I'd say syringes are so cheap that your main concern is going to be shipping charges.
I got mine from Johnson Creek for $2.49 but I got it along with a juice order.

Of course, you can easily get them for a lot cheaper on the internet if you want to buy a box of them.
