Yes, now that you've experienced dripping cartos/clearos etc are going to be ruined for you. When you get your next mod you may want to look into bottom feeders. You get the same experience without actually having to drip. There's also the vision thing (aurora?) so you can bottom feed with what you have.

Yeah, I was reading a thread about that Vision Aurora, looks pretty interesting. Probably check that out once someone starts carrying it stateside.

Only downside I see to the aurora off hand is it's awfully bulky to only hold 1.6ml. I don't want to refill my bottle 5 times a day

Yeah, I can see that being an issue if you are using it as an all day vape tool, but I'm mostly interested in it as a cheap way to try out the whole bottom feeding thing. I've been kind of eyeing the threads on REOs, but I don't want to lay out that kind of money without trying at least SOME kind of bottom feeder. I want to explore dripping and rebuilding before I go down that road though.

When the time comes, you should probably consider the Vmod. It's about half the price of the Reo and there's usually a discount code available somewhere. I got mine for half off. I absolutely love it, but unfortunately can't compare it to the Reo or Bogger as I've never used either of them. Now to see if I can build a better one :D

Ya know, I've seen Baditude talking about the Vmod, too. I wonder if they're doing a Labor Day sale on those. Hmm....might have to look into that. I still haven't come close to spending what I would have on smokes in 3 months, I suppose just ONE more mod wouldn't hurt....(he says, as if it would stop there)

I got one, then another straight after. The VMOD XL is an excellent device in my opinion. I did get both during a 50% off sale so for around $42 and change which is an outstanding deal.

It's like dripping but upside down I suppose. It is a little easier to get a dry hit or flooding than regular dripping and there is a learning curve to it - took me about a day to get used to it. I love the fact it uses an 18650 battery and has a 9ml on board juice bottle, lasts me 2 days and all I have to carry around is an extra battery, an atty and maybe an extra 9ml bottle to change up the flavor.

I got mine around early August and have really not used anything else since. I am still on the first atty that it came with (I have tried others just to see the difference) but I really could not be happier with the VMOD XL. I'd highly recommend one.

I know I will probably get a REO and maybe something wooden in the future, but for now, I don't see the point of using a clearo when the flavor is just so muted compared to bottom feeding (and regular drippers)

Saying all that, I've seen a couple of people post on the VMOD forum (and on the classifieds) that it wasn't for them, so I am not saying everyone will love it, but I am saying if you can get one with the 50% off sale, you are really not taking that much of a risk as you will be able to sell it for what you paid.

I have a Reo Grand with a Reomizer 2 RDA on top of it. If you like RDA dripping, you'll definitely love this setup. With the RM2, it's actually hard to over "squonk". So, there's really no learning curve like there is with squonking a carto or a standard 510 atomizer. You just squeeze some fresh juice into the RDA and any excess is sucked back down into the bottle when you stop squeezing.

I do also have a VMod, but I've never used it - impulse purchase  So I can't compare it to the Reo.

I'm using an A7 on my Vmod and loving it. I wrap my coils at 1.3 ohm and get a better hit than I did with my 510s at 4.5 volts. Probably going to wind up getting an RM2 at some point though as the A7 isn't really designed for a bottom feeder. The air holes are on the base by the threads and the center post is too tall to be able to reverse squonk.

Both the Vmod and the Reo have the fire button on top, which looks like it would be kinda awkward. I know that seems like a small thing to be holding me back on them, but for something I use as much as my PV it's definitely a consideration. Did it take getting used to?

Not much CJ, it's quite intuitive on the VMOD. You can use your thumb and have the button nearest you, or your index finger and have the button farthest from you - or anything in between.

Only thing I would say is the whole chassis on the VMOD XL plastic, and that includes the button and button mechanism. I have read some that have had issues with the chassis cracking. Now, to Vapages' credit, they have replaced the chassis under warranty (and I have had no issues) but I don't want you to think I am some fanboy - I understand the differences between a solid milled block of aluminum and a molded plastic body.

I just might pick one up when they have one of their big sales, I'm thinking. Now that I know how big a difference dripping makes, I definitely feel the lack when I'm out and about with my tanks. Finally saw a US vendor with that Vision Aurora, which I've been eyeing, but it's almost $30, I'm willing to throw in the extra 10 or 20 to grab a Vmod on sale instead. At least that way, as someone pointed out either here or on the Aurora thread, if I don't like it, I can always throw the Vmod up on the classies and not lose much on the experiment. In the meantime I'll play around with rebuilding the new dripper. I need to hunt up what to use for wire gauge and wick size and so forth, most of the people I see are building their RDA's for mechs, and I'm mostly using my SID.

This Octopus surprised the heck outta me today. I took a nap before work, overslept and didn't have time to fill a tank and swap off toppers before I left, so I left the Octo on and grabbed a bottle of the juice I'm vaping (Sweet Mother of Mercury from Moon Mountain.....freakin' yum) and headed out the door. I put in another 5 or 6 drops before I pulled out of the driveway, and it lasted me the whole 1/2 hour drive to work without having to drip again, even with me vaping the whole way! It was fairly primed up to begin with, but still....I was expecting to have to drip far more often than that. Is it because of the egregious amount of wick on the stock coil it came with that I got so long out of it? Should I not expect to get that out a homemade coil (since I have no intention of wrapping 8 freaking wicks like the stock coil)?
