Got second order today for my dad and he actualy found one flavour he didn't mind and then ten mins later he said he felt a tickle in his throat and couldnt stop coughing im not sure what to do here after trying alot of different carts and alot invested i dont think he will touch it again anyone else have this problem?

You might try a lower nic. Beyond that...

I truly wish I could be more helpful. I was on the other side of the fence for 40 years. Grandkids & everyone trying to convince me. It never worked.

Some people are sensitive to the PG, so maybe that is the case. When the VG comes in, you might give that a try. Or as was suggested, try a lower nic? I think many people have dry throat when the first start vaping, maybe encouraging him to drink water or tea while vaping?

I'm having problems with my mom also. She says it makes her cough sometimes but her biggest problem is the size of the reg batt. She says she misses being able to let it hang in her mouth when she is doing something. And she is always doing something I'll tell you she never sits still. She doesn't know it yet but I ordered the shortie batt for her today. I'm hopping it will help. All you can do is offer the info and some supplies and hope for the best.

I second the drinking more suggestion and the lower nic suggestion and also agree that if someone really doesn't want to quit, they just are not going to.

im not sure if its the amount of nic as it was 11 mg and doc pepper was the one he didnt mind he said it tasted like listerine lol maybe its like JenJen said with the PG

Maybe it is the pg. If you wanna quick and fairly cheap fix, you can order some vg juice somewhere and try refilling the cartos you have with that until the real thing comes in?

That's the quickest, most economical thing I can think of for the time being to see if that's what it is.

Well Steve got a bunch of the super short batteries today(he said they will be on the website tomm to order) they are supposed to be the same size as an analog with the cart screwed on so maybe try getting him one of the short batteries and order some vg juice when it comes in!

Vaping takes a bit of getting used to. You don't really vape like you smoked. I still cough when vaping..not often but it happens. I am a low nic gall..11mg to 0nic. It's almost like the vapor goes down the wrong way!
Try to get him to vape the way people smoke a cigar..in shorter, shallower puffs.
Add a few drops of glycerin to any liquid or carto he finds a bit strong.
Glycerin can be found at Wal-mart, grocery stores or drugstores. Most of the time it's in the hand care aisle. Please check to see if it has USP on the label.
meant to add Glycerin is the same as V.G. but thicker..a drop of distilled water will make it thinner if needed.

I understand true that. He was open to try it and has been trying it if I offer it too him but after that sets it down. You also cant make anyone smoke outside if they dont want too!! Even if its affecting somone elses health (athsma and cant sleep with the smell when he gets up in the nite) Thank you for your suggestion much appreciated.

Oh yes, you can rinse them with hot water, just take out the white end cap and rubber washer inside. I run lots of hot water in them and blow it out until I can no longer smell the old juice (or just barely smell it). A good blow will dry them inside then you can refill, just check out the videos on refilling.
