Wow. Thanks everyone for responding. I see there is definate loyalty here and I understand and respect that. As I have products I feel the same way about.....my 14 yr old toyota. Haha. Yes I see mechs are very durable and reliable just not what I think I want at this time even with a kick but thanks for the informative responses regarding those devices as if I ever do want one I can reference these posts. I didnt even know about reo before now so I will definitely look into that option as well. At this time I really do just want simplicity...durability. ..longevity...and options like an ohm reader built in. Thanks again vapers....great community here

Glad we could help. Interested to hear your final choice

When my main computer quit working, I had to stop contributing. The Netbook I use now gets pretty hot if I run F@H on it, so I bide my time for now.

Yeah my toshiba laptop gets crazy hot, but I have a chill mat with cooling fans beneath it that works like a charm. The PC's internal cooling fan is still cranking out some heat, but the underside of the computer is a reasonable temperature

Heck yeah dude. What color? Did you opt for blue or green LED? Battery extension? Haha I'm excited for you, your really going to enjoy it
haha. Thanks. Just got a base model with original red led and satin finish...should look good with my kayfun. No extension because size was really important to me....keeping it small....so I got 4 of the 18350 batts to go with it.

Yeah if I got a mini and wanted to keep the form factor (why would I get a mini with an extension when I have a full size?) I would probably need 4 of the 18350's as well. I cycle through 3 18490's with my full size. I had trouble managing two batteries because I would slap the dead one on the charger, pop in the fresh one and deplete the fresh one before the other one fully charged. More of an issue when I'm using my RSST, not so much with the Russian. RSST requires much more power on my setup
