I like BIG dogs Margie! Like my german Shepard "Sheba". My mom had a boston terrier named Doodlebug. That dog was barky enough for 6 dogs and hopped up and down like a yoyo! But she shadowed my mom day and night and even slept with her.

I like big dogs too, but have always had a special fondness for the small ones.

If we had a larger house I'd think larger dog, but 600 sq ft is a snug fit us and 3 cats already!

Shephards rock!

I LOVE IT!

I had a little lap dog but he did not bite,

That was so cute. You said some things I would love to tell my children and grandchildren but don't dare to.

Thank you I needed that.:)

Most welcome! I'm enjoying the earlier posts and realizing that I have a lot in common with bunches of others...

My grandson and I were in a store today getting a box of candy each for the movie and as we left the counter girl said "ma'am you left your package!" I turned to my 10 year old grandson and he grabbed the bag and told the lady :Grandma doesn't carry her own packages!" He then ran to the door to open it for me. His mom would faint if he did this for her..but she doesn't demand good manners like I do. She should. I only get the boys on vacation, that's not enough time to remind them of thier yes ma'am's and no sirs. As a reward for opening my doors and carrying my packages he got his driving lesson down my dirt road. he does great when he is in the middle, but I am trying to get him to drive on only one side..lol. He is also having trouble with keeping his left foot off to the side!

I'm a gemini, 51, no kids (who's going to care for me when I get old?), cuss like a sailor (loaded trucks for 23 years), absolutely love all animals (mostly dogs), married for almost 32 years, can be too judgmental (if you don't work, don't take care of your kids, treat your parents like crap...you aren't getting even politeness from me), and I'm trying to get on HOARDERS (my house is appalling), and am waaayyyyyy overweight. Working on that part...lost about 12 pounds!

My Fair Lady, Mary Poppins, Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera, Singing in the Rain, Moulin Rouge, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Dr. Doolittle (with Rex Harrison), Willy Wonka (with Gene Wilder) and probably a few others I can't recall... Does Young Frankenstein count as a musical? Heh!

Rex Harrison sings a love song to a seal in Dr. Doolittle that is one of the loveliest ballads I've ever heard...

I love: David Tennant's Doctor. Doctor Horrible (Neil Patrick Harris). I have a crush on Cap'n Jack (TorchWood), And Captain Harkness (From Firefly- same guy that's in Castle.)

Apparently ..Science Fiction Men in roles of authority make me giddy. Is it any wonder I married the closest approximation of one I could find in the real world? (My a-10 wrench monkey <3 )

Just saying Hi. Still having occassional trouble logging in. Sometimes my old password works, sometimes my new. Today, my screen said I was logged in but my comment to a thread wouldn't take because I was told I'm 'not logged in'. Go figure. See if this post 'takes'.
"What's for dinner". Oh my - the cruelist words in the English language, - or am I on the wrong thread? I'm confused :).
