People pay for what they like and find value in. I collect nice watches, even though I could buy a cheap Casio from Amazon for $30...
It's begging to be cloned.
And sometimes they just get caught up
In the hype.
The casino will keep better time than a Rolex.(I've had several, they are not bought because they are accurate timepieces).
I like the design of the rail box, but $350 for a DNA 40 box mod isn't appealing to me.

Nice!I have a Rolex which was given to me, but it isn't particularly comfortable. Fine watches do take a bit of work to keep running, like having them in box winders when not in use and having them cleaned and serviced every couple years. Cold War era Soviet and German watches are what really interest me...
Nice!
I used to buy, repair and sell vintage watches as a hobby.
Some are fantastic devices, some are junk with a gold case.
I liked the profits on Rolex, but it's a crap watch. Swiss ETA movements crush Rolex at a fraction of the price.
Because this thread was about the functionality not the ridiculous pricing or anythingMoved to Temperature Control from APV Discussion
