Only smoke when I go out

I go out drinking about 3 times a month and only smoke when I drink, Djarum Blacks. I saw that Aroma e-juice has one that is this flavor and since the smoking ban took effect last week on the 19 here in SA, i would like to get a e-cig the shape and size of a cig maybe even black in color that has a battery that will last a whole night of chain vaping that I can use with this juice. No limit on cost, better quality is prefered. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try the KR808D-1. That's what I use and I wanted it 'cuz it resembled a regular cig (and you can get it in black). I got mine from myvaporstore for $32.50 but I needed blank cartomizers for it and I get those at Smokeless Image. You could get 'em both at SmokelessImage; their KR808D-1 is called the Volt. But there are a BUNCH of places that sell these.

How long is your night out? We talkin happy hour to closing time bar crawl? Showing up at 10:30-11 cause only drunks and college kids get there while there's no cover?

If you plan on chain vaping like I used to chain smoke when drinking (we're talking an entire pack in the 5 hours at the bar) then an 808 might not cut it for you, at least not on a single battery.

You also may not want to go with something that looks too much like an analog since the smoking ban in SA is so new. Going with something a bit bigger might get you fewer "are you smoking in here?" stares.

A 808 will do you fine. Since you don't smoke that much, there is no reason to drop a bunch of loot on one of these things imo. Smokeless image is a good a place as any of the 808 dealers around here to give a try. Also, Nhaler is pushing a new 480mah 808 that holds 2ml of juice. Worth a look anyhow. Good luck!!

Sounds like an 808 will be a good deal for you then. Can't give an honest opinion on the Volt, haven't tried them yet, however I am diggin my 808 kit I got from MVS (myvaporstore.com) although I did swap out the standard cartos they come with for some Boge 3ohms from Liberty Flights. I'm thinking of dropping down to the 2.7ohm Boge's next time though, since I like a warmer vape.

As far as the Djarum flavor from Aroma, I don't want to comment on how I feel about it having never tried their juice myself, however I will point out a few things about their site that kinda turned me off to this particular purchase idea. The flavor you want is currently only available as a 30ml size at 24mg nic strength and some unknown PG/VG ratio. If you only smoke a couple times a month 24mg is gonna be pretty strong for you, and the 808's in my experience like a low VG ratio so if they're running a 50/50 mix you might have some trouble with it.

Still a newbie myself, I'm sure some of the other juice guru's will chime in with a good choice in cloves. Good news though, the aroma from vaping doesn't linger like smoke does so you won't come home smelling like a freshly baked ham.

PS: Don't hit the PV as hard as you have to on a fresh deck of DJ Blacks...those things are like sucking a Frosty through a straw.

Good point, most PCC's will also hold a couple of extra cartos in them as well as an extra battery, size and weight about equal to a smart phone (hell I think my PCC is lighter.)

Ego: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo

6 hour+ on one battery. Two of these WILL last the time you're talking about comfortably even with chain vaping.

My volt batteries will last 2 hours roughly on one battery. You'd have to take 3 batteries and they have a much smaller capacity so you'd need to take a lot of cartomisers. 808 is only good if you aren't needing a long portability time.

Ego, and something tank based. Couple of CE2/CE3's or EMDCC cartomiser since you only want one juice will be much more juice in one unit at once. There's so many options but out of the stuff I've used so far, that's what I'd take if I wasn't fussed about what my ecig looks like.

Ego is barely bigger than a volt anyway:

For the record, I love my volt, it is amazing but unless what it looks like it more important than functionality it's not what you're asking for.

If price is truly no barrier, you could go for a rio too. But yeahhhh it's really not cigarette looking haha

And note - all decent slim ecigs are thicker than a cigarette - like 9.2 mm and especially look thicker in white. You may need to carry 2 or more charged batteries (or 2 and a PCC) for all-evening vaping.

100mah is about 1 hour of moderate vaping
short Joye 510 and short KR808D-1 are 180mah

Joye mega xl and KR808D-1 standard aka 78mm are 280 to 320mah and the Joye is 128mm long w/ carto, the KR8 is 128mm long with carto

The shorter size can look more like a cigarette but definitely carry a second battery and charged PCC. 2 charged batteries of the longer size should last even a long evening out unless you vape constantly.

And I recommend manual batteries.

I've been using an Igo for 4 or so months. Good device imo. Plus, 808 stuff works like a champ on it. Mine is the 1300mah from Nhaler.

I suggest buying a KR808D-1 starter kit from V4L.

http://v4l.com/Ultimatum_Ultimate_Starter_Kit.html <--- That one has two batteries (I suggest the XL for best battery life), in all kinds of colors, with all the bells and whistles. It also includes a PCC so you can charge your other battery while you're vaping on one.

I'd second the Joye ego as a great option. I got the Tornado Tank from Totally Wicked - its essentially the same as the ego, just rebranded - I got this version just because I like Totally Wicked and wanted to support them - I believe the ego is a little cheaper elsewhere. I also own an 808 and a Screwdriver mk2, but I keep going back to the Tornado (I'm not a fan of the 808 - nothing wrong with it, just wasn't for me).

But whatever you choose I think you'll be glad. Have fun vaping!

Quit drinking or by an EGO, small batteries won't do for chain vaping.
