I got my order in when they opened this morning. But it crashed when I tried to pay for it. Couldn't get back into the website for awhile. When I finally did, and tried to pay, it says they are closed for the day. My order still shows, I just can't pay. So I think I'm out of luck unfortunately. Kind of depressing.
I had my cart ready 10 minutes before they opened. I even tried to complete the order right before they opened...no luck.
Then all hell broke loose. 500 errors, cart went empty, reload, reload, reload x100....finally got my cart stocked again....500 error. reload....get a page....get next page to pay....500 error.....over and over for 25 minutes. Finally I got to the card site and paid only to get the merchant notification that I paid, approved, but they couldn't tell AVE, but they sent them an email.....10 minutes later, store closes.
Then I get an email from Ben confirming my order....yay? I hope so, but even now, logging in, my order is still showing unpaid....but my bank account doesn't reflect that!
I agree with nicetucu....don't tell people when it will be available...just say it's on the way, or soon, a few days....just put it back and let folks trickle in by word of mouth. Leave it up to the customer to keep checking back every so often. Now, I realize that's NOT the best customer service in the world....but considering the alternative pandemonium, server crashes, payment snafu......either sneak it in or grow the business to handle the demand. (Keep enough Boba's onhand to meet demand)
Ben has something HOTTT with Boba's and GJ right now.....don't blow it by not being able to supply it.....
