as of now the order still shows View Details | Pay for your Order.

That's what I was getting earlier. As of now however the order is not showing up on the website at all. It's a bit worrisome. But I did get a confirmation email from AVE and my card was charged, so I'm hoping for the best.

yep my order is not showing now either. the charge is still pending on my credit card. dont know what to do.

Orders Placed After We Close.

I can see from my 96 new help desk tickets, that I need to add a general information release on our closed sign and orders.

If you place an order after we have closed, you have not paid for it.

That is the bottom line. You WILL get an e-mail showing that you have placed an order on our website. This ONLY means we have a record of the order. Not that it is paid for. Further more, the longer these orders sit in the system the more likely they are to be deleted. This is something our system does automatically for unpaid orders to keep organized.

Additionally, any error you might receive is due to our being closed at the time of your order, nothing more. In light of our recent security issues I can understand some trepidation. However, those concerns should be expressed before placing an order not after, and not after placing an order while we are closed.


well the charge is on my credit card, guess we got screwed.

My order has vanished as well, yet the charge remains on my account. It is "processing" and will at some point go away because the merchant won't clear it. It is impacting my account balance as it has placed a "hold" on the charged amount.

This is a very poor way to do business, and I feel a somewhat arrogant response on their website....directed at most of us (and others) in this thread who got the merchant communication error.

I'm undecided how to proceed.

The real problem is, and I have brought this up before, is the hoarders. It isnt AVE's fault at all. Many people buy in bulk (ridiculous amounts), and that leaves the rest of us SOL. The hoarders tried to feed me the argument that their business hours are based upon the number of orders they receive, but the events today, and the fact they had been open around the clock proves that it is in fact a matter of supply vs. demand. Limiting the purchase amount to 100ml per customer wouldnt leave anyone without, I dont know why they wont implement such a policy.


I buy for me and my wife. A total of 100ml of BB and 100ml of GJ. I was actually thinking of ordering another 100 of each just to have 1 steeping while we were vaping the other bottles. This will last us 3-4 weeks. Is that borderline hoarding? I feel a little guilty here.

I'm in again.

This time I only got one 500 error, reloaded and got in. I had already placed 3 bottles of Boba's in my basket 30 minutes ago. I checked out...no errors or reloads...got to the card site, processed my card....and this time DID NOT get an error. I got a "success" message from AVE:

Your order was successfully submitted!
Success! Your order has been validated and is complete!

I also immediately got my confirmation email. My new order shows "Validated" and paid.

Okay...today....I really think I'm in this time.

Wow...just reloaded the page...they are already closed. Open a whole 11 minutes.

Glad I got mine in.

tw39515....did you get an "unable to contact merchant" response to your card processing, or an actual AVE success message like I got above? Is your order there but not paid for?

my order shows in my order list. I don't normally place an order if there closed, that's kind of an indicator for me to wait until they open to place my order. but that's just me :vapor:

That's the thing. Those of us who had problems yesterday placed our orders while they were open. The problems occurred when Authorize.net was unable to report back to the AVE system, because of very heavy traffic on the site, that our orders were paid for.

Oh and by the way, my order showed in my order list as well, until it was finally deleted a good 12 hours later.

That what rubbed me wrong about the message they posted on the website. If you try to order when they're closed, it won't even go to the card processing....it'll give you a "Closed" splash.....so if you make it to the card site and they close while you're processing your card... you get what we had yesterday......

Vap3ster.....I only received 1 email....same confirmation email I received yesterday.

Today though, after processing my card, I did not get that merchant communication error, I got the "success" message back on AVE's site after processing. My order shows as "validated" and there is no option to pay it, only view it.

So....I feel a little better today.....

i got 2 differnt messages one about billing address not match then another message i didnt really catch. the prepaid card only had 50.00 on so the first try left the second order without the funds i guess. and the order still says unpaid. i even have a 20.00 gift certificate that i cant use:-x

ok its been 24 hrs and my order is still in the list.....however it shows "validated" does it progress to "paid" and then "shipped" in the order list or is "validated" good to go?

Same here. I understand that the AVE owner must be under a lot of pressure, and it is easier to just let all the problem orders get deleted, instead of spending countless hours trying to reconcile and match data with Authorize.net. But the message on AVE homepage does have a bit of an accusatory tone to it, perhaps unintended, and would have been better if it acknowledged that the problems were not the fault of the customers. But, whatever...

"Validated" in this case I believe means validated by Authorize.net, i.e. payment has been validated. I imagine the next status would be shipped, and that your order is fine. Those of us who had a problem yesterday never got the "validated" status.
