Opinion on 1st Mod and Retailer

I've enjoyed the Lizard juice Smooth device for the past three months, but was looking to get something that is less expensive to operate and harder hitting.
I devoted about 20 mins into researching it and decided to go with a Nemesis/Kraken clone. When I went to VapeDemand to buy it, I ended up putting a Nemesis/KF3.1 clone in the cart ($90, no battery). ECig Ave offers a Nemesis/Kraken clone for $58 incl. battery.
I'd appreciate if people could share some opinions on the mods that I have in mind, the quality of the clones and their opinions on the retailers.
Does it even make sense to go from a Lizard juice Smooth to a rebuildable, or am I asking for frustration?

I'd say frustration will be based off of weather you plan on trying to build it as a genesis(AS mesh wick), or with a cotton wick. Also on how good you are with your hands,YouTube it's quite helpful when doing your first build.

which clone and which battery. Batts must never be skimped on, and the wrong type or amp ratting can be quite hazardous.

All clones are not equal. Hcigar and infinite have been the best quality clones I have, but with rba's much prefer Authentic. I usually get the authentic first, then if a clone of it shows up, that has potential to be almost as good, I'll take a chance on it. Not always successful. EHPro is supposed to be decent, but my experience has been less than satisfactory.

Clones are a crap shoot. 3 out of 5 being acceptable would be nice. Though was very happy with the Tree of Life 26650 mech mod from FT.

The eCigAve site doesn't specify what kind of clone or battery. Combined with the comparatively low price makes me skeptical.
