Hello ECF peoples! Ive decided to take up the new habit of vaping, not that I smoke now but its so incredibility social. I just went back to college and noticed that you easily can make 6 new friends every day you "smoke." Alright so I have bought a couple of blu disposables, they are not great but they work. After extensive research on this site I've landed on a K808 for sure maybe the one from V9. I don't want you guys to tell me I should step up to a eGo or a box mod or lava tube. I want lots of vapor and some throat hit! I just want to know the best 808 and cartomizers, thank you in advance peoples for the noob help.

I've personally never used an 808 but have heard/read good things about several... V4L, Bloog, etc... I do have two suggestions though. If you're currently a non-smoker I'd stick to cartos and/or liquids with zero nicotine; you can find all the throat hit you want (I think) with different flavors & PG/VG balance. Also, pay close attention to what the experienced 808 vapers tell you. There are a few folks on here who have been using those models for quite some time and really know some stuff about them. Happy Vaping!

Green LED? Why not get a green laser pointer less than 5mW? Looks a lot cooler and costs less.

I agree, if you are not smoking or using nicotine now don't start. If you want zero nicotine vaping with lots of vapor to look cool, hit the chicks or whatever try an E-Power 14650 with zero nicotine. Use 1.7 LR XL cartos: just the warmth from this vapor will give some throat hit. The stainless steel model looks very serious. The good ones (like from Hoosier) have a blue LED switch, but no glowing green LED afterburner on the end.

A lot of the disposable quicky-mart, gas station and mall kiosk e-cigarettes feature green LED headlights on the end. That may be your most economical choice.

Sorry that I'm not Elementz. :)

Go check out Vapor 4 Life: Vapor4Life There are a reputable supplier of KR808s and empty or pre-filled cartomizers. Their WOW cartos are very, very nice. They might have something with a green led.

Elementz I cant find green LED on bloog..... :( any other places that might have them?

yzer you are hilarious in that sarcastic dry way that I like. Thanks for the info the ladys are ridiculously hot if you must know, I like the stainless idea.
Hey I know. Better yet, I remember. For me it was Camel straights, suede leather Eisenhower jacket and boot-cut jeans. Whatever works. If a green LED works, use it. You have to put out the right lure at the right time to catch fish.

My first kit was a Vapor4Life. That was a year ago, but it was a great kit, and the customer service is awesome. A few times I had a battery die. All I did was call them up and say, "My battery stopped working", and they had a new one sent right out no questions asked. Very nice over the phone too.

I don't know of any that have green LED. But my first setup was a KRD-808. That one isn't bad per se. Maybe I got a bad model, I bought it in a shop locally, and the guy lets you try out a bunch before you bought one, so maybe he sold me one he had used a lot for trials. But I found the battery on that model doesn't last terribly long, and the charger it came with is awkward and requires some fiddling to get it to seat properly. I bought a Joy Ego more recently, its definitely superior in quality and battery life. I still use a KRD-808 USB passthru model for smoking when I'm near a computer however.

The photo in the ECF banner logo has GOT to go. E-cigarettes have advanced way past the blue headlight stage.
