opinions wanted please

Hi all,
I am fairly new to vaping and would love to pick your brains for suggestions.Recently started diying my liquid which i love got supplies cheap and found myself an app got calculating recipes but I am so new to having a choice in flavor i have no idea what to make. I find the premade fruity ones which i thought i would like all just tasted like flowers to me not sweet or fruity at all so far i am sticking with a diy ry4 flavor sometimes i add a drop or two of minty choc to give a bit of a menthol flavor. My question is what are some flavors you would suggest for someone who hasnt tried much of anything ( i understand flavor is subjective and will not hold anyone accountable for me not liking the same thing as them ) I have no idea where to start so even finding what i dont like helps and do the fruit flavors have to taste flowery is there suggested ways to sweeten or things to avoid if i dont want to taste like i am chewing flower petals ?

From your description, it sounds like you might be mixing too strong. That tends to bring out a perfumey-ness. But, I only have very limited experience with DIY so far. Check Hoosier's blog for some very good, very quick answers to get you started.

What flavorings do you have to work with so far?

What percentages have you been mixing at?

One of my favorite flavors is juicy peach from tpa I mix it stronger than most with sweet cream some em and a drop of menthol.

If your into Bakery Flavors I really suggest trying Capellas for flavoring. Its very forgiving line of flavoring that is really good. You will make some really good juice using this stuff. If your into the fruity types I would suggest FlavourArt, Flavor West and some of the new super concentrated flavorings.

Now idea what flavors you are using that is giving the flowery type tastes. There is some TPA stuff that is just god awful no matter what you do to it. Remember to start new flavorings at 5% and work your way up. Give some mixes time to steep as well. A mix might taste awful at first but give a week or even a month things do change. tobacco flavors always steep no less than 2 weeks.

Give us some ideas on what type of flavors you enjoy to vape and Im sure we can suggest some stuff that can be easy to mix.
