Hey all, I'm getting ready to send my REOs in for rebuild and possible LP (mill the catch cup down). I'm looking for opinions for the best BF single coil Atty that produces the most vapor, built to last, doesn't leak and oh yea is readily available. I'm currently running a RM2 with a .7 ohm 27awg micro coil w/cotton and 24mg unflavored nicotine. My RM2s are tested and true but in need of repair (spinning posts) or used for back up, so what are your recommendations for the LP modification? Thanks!

No simple answer - it's preference!!
One thing that would help steer suggestions would be to know how you like the "draw" - is your RM2 running a stock airhole?

Me, I like a "restricted lung hit" - I want air enough for a lung hit, but just barely - a lot of the newer 22 mm atomizers tend to be too airy for me...

Either way, the LP mod may be worth it long term as it opens up TONS of atty options...

As Train said, preference and esp fitting your vaping style is important. Budget is also a factor.

I'm a long lung hitter, a flavor junkie, so the small to mid size chamber atty's are my thing. Either with an AFC that works well or with their air intakes enlarged for my LLH's. I didn't want any 22mm atty's for my Reos but took the plunge anyway, have a bunch of them, don't use them. I have not been using the Atomic either, don't really like it.

IMO For the price the RM2 and RM3 are fantastic, so is my one and only IGO-S. Up the price and I like my VA Cyclones (2013), Hornet and all the Nuppin's. Up the price again and well on the way to winning a shared top spot with the Nuppin's is my new Chalice III's. If they make it most likely they will replace everything else except the Nuppin's eventually (except on the VVG that will continue to use its RM2 with a RM3 and the IGO-S as backups).

All my builds are dual coils. I never run singles, but in case I ever decided to, I'd want an atty where I could do either, like the RM4 or the Nuppin. I don't know if any Nuppins are still available. I ordered one of the last ones the other day. But if there are any, I'd jump on one. The build is a little odd, at first. But they are awesome, and have an AFC that actually works well.

I have 3 RMs each opened up at little more than the other. After reading many threads from others who use to smoke many cigs my vaping has changed from when I first started just like many others, more vapor, longer harder lung hits. After becoming aware of this I prefer what you referred to as a "restricted lung hitter". I mouth to lung with limited long hard lung burners.
