I occasionally get those type of hits even using clearos like my Aerotank.. in fact got one earlier today.. its weird..

it almost feels like its going to be a dry hit during inhale.. but then its not.. you are right - super sweet and then hardly any vapor production.

I've been wondering what this is as well so good post!

are the air flow holes on your igo w stock? The igo w top caps come with incredibly small air holes.. less air flow = less vapor and more flavor. It won't taste dry but it will definitely hit your throat hard and give you a flavor that's probably too strong.

take the top cap to a table, clamp it down and drill it out a little bit larger, if that still isn't big enough then drill it bigger still, until you're happy with the air flow.

I just took the cap off n wiped all the juicey condensation out of it. There was quite a bit in there. Maybe the heat was just burning condensation at a lower temps. I'm not getting any liquid on my tounge so I'm not getting that spicy burn but I may be inhaling it

It definitely sounds exactly like you just over saturated the coil itself. Stop dripping directly on the coil and start dripping only on the wick. This should solve your problem, just make sure the wick is saturated and the juice will feed the correct amount to the coil automatically. No need to drip on the coil itself because it keeps the coil cool and you wind up getting a flavorful but hard and vapor-less hit.

Hm. It's not a burning flavor though. It's still the flavor of the juice but just super sweet and potent with no vapor. No burning cotton flavor either.

From what you've described in this post alone, I'm getting the impression that's you've put too much eLiquid on the coil itself. I used to get it a lot when I've been using tanks and clearos - it normally happens when it gets flooded. Of course, drippers work differently. I'm not absolutely sure I'm correct as when it happens with tanks or clearos it's due to the eLiquid blocking the airflow which results in very little Vapour but strong flavour from the eLiquid itself.

However, too much eLiquid on the coil and you could still be obstructing the airflow with eLiquid. Did you mean the Vapour gradually improves after a few drags? If so it makes it sound more like this is the case as the coil will have vaporised the excess eLiquid. Also bear in mind that when there's more liquid on the coil there is more heat transference going on and therefore the coil takes longer to heat up.

I may of course be talking crap and be completely wrong :D
