Can't you throw a top fill kf top on it, that along with the quartz kit and it might be pretty cool, those along with the original cost of the atty itself. And it would have to. Blow the Fv4 out of the water to get any more of my attention....

The nano quartz kit fits, but the capacity goes to nearly nothing as the metal top and bottom rings are very close tothe chimney. The full size quartz kit is to tall, the chimney wont reach the top cap.I think i may try and find a local glass shop and see if they can cut the glass from the full kit down about 1/8" or so,or if they have glass tube in the right size.

IBtanked sells a lot of custom cut tubes, I think you might have to buy like 3-4 at a time or something for custom sizes, but it's something to look into if you can't find anything locally.

Yeah, they are definitely an option, just a bit pricey. It's a 3 piece minumum, and if i remember right i think it's like $35 plus shipping.I'm hoping a local place will be able to do it a bit cheaper, but if not, then i will hit them up for the glass, and buy a few more quartz kits from fasttech to use the metal end caps.I think we will see quartz kits for the orchid before too long though,as that seems to be the biggest complaint i have seen is the plastic tank,so i'm sure somebody will take notice and get something going hopefully.

By the way, just gotta say i love my orchid haha.I got the tobeco clone, and have seen some people in the clone thread that had issues with thiers, but mine is almost perfect. This thing has a very smooth airy draw,i have to force myself to put it down haha.I diy my juice, and i think i definitely need to lower my nic level now.

burnt dry hits is a wicking issue. Using 26 me self.

Not necessarily if the coil is vaporizing the juice too fast then I don't think that's wicking issue I think that's a wire issue like if your using 24 guage your build is bound to be low especially if your doing a dual coil build and when you only have a small deck to work with more wraps won't fit so your stuck with a low ohm 24g build drying out your cotton before it can rewick itself hence dry burnt hits

Yep, just like I said, and so did you, if the build is vaporizing beyond the wicks potential, dat dare tis the definition of wicking issue. Though haven't used cotton for some time, there are vastly superior fibers to choose from.

Yeah idk I've tried almost every wick know to vapers rayon, hemp, bamboo, readyxwick,ss mesh, organic cotton, japenese cotton etc cause wicking is so cheap I figure I would find the best of the best and the best to me is koh gen doh whenever I used rayon just ripping it apart felt like the inside of a stuffed animal plasticky fibers does not seem safe to vape and I know almost nothing is but I think cotton just seems safer it's been around longer and to me I get better flavor than rayon and no break in time yeah it costs a big more but it's not much more also seems to hold more juice IMO

Ya, I've also decided on koh gen doh (or however it's spelled) but I'm still looking for a place to get it for a good price with a good reputation and quick shipping. If you know of any recommendations you'd be willing to offer me, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks
Keep on vaping all you cloud-chasing cowboys (and cowgirls) =]

ps- speaking of aethertech, has anyone seen some of the photos of their soon to be released mod? It's absolutely GORGEOUS! The project is a collaboration with cloud kicker society and I know at least vaperev will definitely be carrying it very soon. It's called "The Notorious Mod". Here's a little teaser for all of ya' :vapor:

I wish I could give you a link But I usually just buy it off of eBay i noticed I can make my wicks a lot thicker with kgd and still I don't get that nasty cotton taste one of the biggest + for me I also like how consistent it is I can make two identical wicks with ease instead of guessing with cotton balls I just cut a strip put it over the square and cut another super simple.

I didn't smoke cigarettes, but I used the action of vaping, and the hobby of it, to help fill that void I caused for myself.

..but I wouldn't ever listen to someone who quit smoking...really didn't even quit, went to something more fun, time consuming, and unknown as far as dangers of it.. on advice on where I was.. it's just the way it is.

Anyone know why Jvape's was the first shop I had ever been inside of? Lol
Lol I thought it was really clear and therefore went without saying that I was being sarcastic. I'm not really trying to setup a program where vapers provide counsel to recovering drug addicts. (You see, this is just another perfect example backing up my theory that the world is in dire need of a sarcastic font to denote when sarcasm is being employed or at least a punctuation mark to enclose the sarcastic text within. We could call it The Sarc-Mark © lmao

How does it hold up in terms of resilience in comparison to standard organic? Like how many tanks can you go through in a kayfun before performance starts to degrade and you've gotta re-wick?
