I built my orchid to .5 tested on my ohm reader. When I put it on my DNA30 every time I hit the fire button it changes ohms. It goes from .5 to 1.0. Any thoughts or help will be greatly appreciated.
This has happened to me recently. What fixed the problem for me was to make sure that the post screws that are trapping the wires are still nice and tight. Sometimes they tend to loosen themselves up due to the cooling and heating of the coils.
Yeah, either one of the screws is a bit loose,or possibly the the wire is not sitting under the screw, could be off to the side, and allowing it to move a bit.
Sounds like one coil stopped firing (notice the resistance doubled). Possibly a post screw snapped a coil lead. Lightly sanding the bottoms of the post screws will help a lot.
