I have been searching on google and found nothing that would help me. I am new to RBA and everything that is rebuildable. I own Orchid v4 and kbox. I also have 24awg wire and i have problem with sizing it. I have made 2 coils on a screwdriver that came with Orchid (don't know the size and cannot estimate it due to the screwdriver being really small). Each coil had 10 wraps. I have put the coils into the atty and kbox refused to power it. I took one of the coils out and kbox powered it. I realise that 2 coils is going over 0.4 ohms. So i would like to ask how many wraps would i need? What size screwdriver or drill bit should i use for it too. I was aiming to get 0.5ohm or 0.6ohm. Saying it now: Please don't give me links to calculators because i don't understand them.

not trying to be a dick here, but it sounds like you need to do some more research. The calculator at steam-engine.org is very easy to use and straight forward, you just input your wire guage, coil diameter (size of the screwdriver) and number of wraps, and it gives you the resistance value. I Have not used a Kbox, but in my experience some regulated mods don't like to fire "virgin" coils, and i found that heating (either with a mechanical mod or a torch) and squeezing them together with pliers or tweezers helps the regulated mods be willing to fire them.

I mean I know how to use them. I don't get the output i get from it. For this example i will use Coil Toy calculator. I set the diameter (This is the size of screwdriver i wrap around is in it?) to 3mm, spacing to 0mm (because i try to keep the wraps together), dual coil forward and target resistance to 0.6. It comes up with 2x15 wraps. So i go and do the 15 wraps on each coil but then it turns out that the coil will not fit into the base. Yes i heat it up and press it together with pliers.

.4 is gonna be difficult to get with dual coils that will fit in the orchid chimmney. Id say get some 28g and do dual 8wrap coils to get roughly .6ohms. Also I love the Orchid but it isnt meant to build low on and run high watts especially if you dont drill yhe juice channels. I run mine at .6 at 30w on my kbox with no dry hits, before i drilled the channels everyother hit was dry it seemed like.
