I just bought an orchid v4 yesterday and had it set up in the shop. I can build and everything but a free build I won't turn down. Anyway I used lemonade to fill it and the plastic cracked. So they replaced it fore and put new wicks in. Well the first build worked great. But the second time he wicked it we dripped on the cotton and filled the tank and I got two great hits then it was dry as a bone. I have tried making the cotton less dense and more dense. I have trimmed the cotton so it would sit flush with the bottom of the channels while the channel section on the deck was open to let juice flow and it still hasn't helped. Any advice? I need to get this figured out because every time I take it apart I lose all my juice. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is it holding a vacuum? These tanks have to be capable of holding a vacuum for them to work. Verify that it holds a vacuum by sucking on the drip tip with no juice in it while closing off both air holes with your fingers, if you tongue can stick to the tip and not release its holding vacuum. This is just the first step of diagnosing such a problem, the next of course is re-wick it over and over again until you get it right.:(

We ran the wick down the channels. Basically sealed it off. I figured that liquid flows and will fill empty space so I rewickef it and cut the cotton to rest on top of the channels on the top of the build deck. First experience with rtas and now I'm in love. Hasn't dry hit so far and I've used half my tank already lol

And I have a Cthulhu on the way as well so I'm glad now I know how it works rdas are great. I have 4 that I use all the time. But I really like the performance of this is I still get the satisfaction of doing the building with out having to drip. And considering I have a SMPL mod I thought I was confined to dripping. But anyway I defin like this style atty
