So true. The Orchid was the hardest for me. Now that I've done that one, I can pretty much build anything. I'm really into my T5 right now.

I considered the Orchidv4, but 98% of the juices I love are tank crackers. I was unaware of a glass tank being available. So I got a Billow which had the same leaky reputation. The secret is in the wicking. The Billow has never leaked on me yet. Heck, I even got the Fogger to stop leaking.

Can you elaborate some on your wicking technique? Pics even?
Before I get a Billow or an Orchid I wanna have as much info as possible

I love my EHPro Kayfun 3.1. I really like the idea of the Kayfun V4 design that lets you invert the tank and remove the bottom cap to recoil and re-wick without draining the tank. I thought that the Orchid V4 was a Kayfun V4 clone. I stopped at the local Stormy's Vapor Cellar to buy one today and found that it's more like the Kayfun 3.

Looks like I'll still have to mail order my Kayfun V4 after all ...

I take the base off all my orchids to re coil/re wick all the time without draining the tank.The trick is to not screw the chimney tight on the base,leave it a turn from being all the way tightened and the chimney will stay in the top cap when you unscrew the base.
