Hi,
i placed an order from madvapes last week.
It contain some batterys , some attys and a bottle of e liquid.
The order arrived this week in Canada and so far it is held at the customs, on the canada post page when i track my order, it says that customs will reviewed my packadge.
First i would like to know, if it contain e liquid and they see it, will they seize my packadge??
Also how long can it take at the customs??
Thanks.

From my understanding, one of three thing may occur.

1) They find the e liquid, and send the package back to the vendor. The vendor will probably attempt to resend if this happens.

2) They find the e liquid, and remove it, and send the rest to you (doubtful)

3) They find it, don't know what it is, let it pass, and send you the package

Thanks, i hope the 3rd option will be the one.

Customs can take anywhere from 1 day to a galactic year. It just depends on how busy they are with other packages, what they have to do to inspect your package, and whether or not the inspector that has your package is still in the current Survivor pool.

If there's juice, they have the option of sending the package back to MadVapes, but I've also heard tell that some people got their packages sans juice, so I guess they may end up doing that too. The general suggestion is that if you need juice and hardware, order them separately. Yeah, it costs more, but you're far more likely to get hardware (which rarely if ever gets stopped -- I've heard of them seizing cartos) than juice.

'Tis the unfortunate reality of dealing with E-juice and customs, I'm afraid. We'll just keep our fingers crossed that the inspector that gets your package is either in a good mood or isn't quite as aware of the nic restrictions or doesn't recognize your stuff for what it is.

Or buy off the classifieds from us Northern friendly sellers. Make sure you tell a seller how to send to Canada if they never have before. The declaration form is small, short and easy to use. Keep in mind the smallest package to Canada we can send cost about $5 to mail. So offer the seller the difference in shipping.
Oh, and you could always suggest juice orders be shipped to "Chef John Doe" as "liquid flavorings". ;)

I am just curious how ling it took to receive the letter from customs? The one place that I always get my juice from in the states has always taken 3 weeks to arrive, give or take a day. I have been waiting for 5 weeks for my last order and with no tracking number I have no idea what happened to it. I figured if customs had it I would have gotten a letter by now?
