Mamacat or Chris,

What's the current turn-around time on non-juice orders? I had 2 out of 3 of my 901 batts pop today, leaving me one. I need to order replacement immediately. Chris has the best price I've found, but if it's gonna take 2 days to ship, I'll have to wait until next time...semi-emergency, time is of the essence blah blah.

So...order 2 batts today, ship...when?

Thanks!

dochogan; I'm waging a campaign to get vapers to just say "no" to the 901.
Fact: Your batteries will always 'pop' just when you least expect. When they start to go bad, they'll ruin the life of your atomizer too. I've been vaping 3 mos and have bought more replacement batteries and atomizers than I can now count. Don't think it's a fluke, or a bad supplier, - it's a basic design flaw in the 901. The batteries have holes allowing the access of liquid from the mouth piece and atomizer. The 901 battery hole allows the vacuum switch to activate. I haven't seen the manual, but it probably doesn't need the hole to activate the atomizer. I'm switching to a 601 pipe next.
This reply may seem off topic, but it's really about delivery. With the 901 you will always be "white knuckling it" waiting for a fast emergency replacement shipment -- like now. Why? because the batteries and atoms are ALWAYS ALWAYS going to cr*p out on you and leave you with nicotine withdrawal. Unless you want to live your life checking USPS tracking #'s, find another model of electronic device :)

Thanks for the input, cmac. However, the 901 isn't my white-knuckle issue...unemployment and lack of funds is. With proper foresight, it wouldn't be an issue. As well, I don't think there's an eCig in this category that compares, in vapor production, battery charge, etc. Finally, even if there was a comparable move to make, I don't have the $100-ish to change models. If money were less of an issue, I wouldn't be worrying about a 2$ cheaper battery from Chris, or maybe going with a manual from Elec. Ash. As it is, I *have* to balance that $2 difference against ETA.

And, not to be harsh (tact is not a personal strength), but I don't think criticizing a vendors product (even if not criticizing the vendor) mid-stream of a sales question is, well...tacky, at best. If I were asking the vendor for an opinion or advice on the product, that might be different; I wasn't, and it isn't. Just sayin.

BTW...where in NC are you?

Awaiting your response, Mamacat or Chris ;D

Hey Doc -

The only thing that would hold them up would be to add something else to the order. So if you want to go ahead and order them and I will get Chris to get them out. Send me a message when you do so, and I will touch base with Chris to let him know of your dire situation.

Also, 901 attys are the absolute best IMO. Been on my original atty for over 3 months now with no real sign of letting up!!

Many thanks ~ mamacat :)

i am also a 901 man, have had no problem with atomizers, but this might change since i purchased a mod. that is working at 5-6 volts, to early to tell on that.

motorcity57 ~

Inquiring minds want to know - Which mod did you get? Was it one that will work with the 901 attys and carts?

Many thanks ~ mamacat :)
