Ive got myself a diy boxer mod kit and after any helpful tips on building the device ?
I have many years soldering experience so I'm ok in that department.
So far I've found a few vids on how to solder the fdv v4 low profile posi pin with a set of helping hands of course. The best way to do it is to use helping hands hold the centre pin depressed removing the red busing / o-ring , heat the centre pin drop a dab of solder in the guts of the pin (not too much) keep the iron on there and whilst still liquid position the white lead of the yihi chip into the centre remove the heat let it set .
I think that was my main concern but id like any helpful tips and things people have learned along the way
