So i ordered this dripper to test the waters of the dripping world. Do i need anything else? I plan to use with my Evic or Vamo or maybe even ego 650 (ordered 1.8ohm). I have a drip tip, do i need a shield? Anything else i should know, tips, tricks, etc?

Be sure to read the directions on their site about first use. They also have a video to demo it for you. I don't know about the Evic but it should work fine on your Vamo.

I had one of those but will probably never buy another. Yes the flavor is great and good vapor as well. My complaint is that the quality control must be lacking. Seems that they last anywhere from 2 to 10 months. Realize that it will vary according to usage but I was quite gentle with mine and only got about 2.5 months. I realize that only comes out to about 28 cents per day but with my rba I can get that down to around 5 cents per day.

You have everything you need. Prime it with ~10-12 drops at first. Then 4-5 when needed. There might be a bit of leakage; just keep a napkin handy. You don't need a drip shield. You have to hit it really hard with a fast draw. Personally, I prefer the regular Cisco spec 510 atomizers from Avid. But the HH.357 is a good attie.
