Ordered my first E-cig (advice)

Hey everyone, my friend bought an e-cig to quit smoking analogs which he hasn't totally but has cut back quite a bit. Anyway, I've been using his and I really liked it so I bought it off the same site that he did but now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have, because you have to buy cartomizers from then and their shipping takes forever from the UK to california. Since I can't post links I'll just say if you go to Google and type in "vip cigs" it's the first site that shows up. I bought the "bundle kit menthol high" one. The reason I bought this over a different one was because I saw how easy it was just to switch out carto's instead of refilling and messing with addys(?) and all that stuff. Is there any way that different carto's would work on the e-cig I bought or will I always have to buy from this company? (untill I buy a new one...)

Also another question...I'm guessing in a month or two I'll want to buy an e-cig where I can refill and what not. It seems like everyone talks about the 510 but has problems with battery life. I'm looking for one that looks like a regular ciggerate, either all white such as a light ciggerate or the traditional yellow and white ciggerate. The longer the battery life the better, and I'm also a bit scared of having to try out filling my own because I think I'd lose the little parts or something just wouldn't work. Is there anyone that just uses carto's?

KR808D-1 PVs look like a regular cigarette, are two piece (use cartos), you can get the batteries in different colors (white, black, etc.). Battery life isn't huge, but not too bad, and using either a PCC or XL battery lets you go a decent time before needing AC power.

KR808 carts can be refilled pretty painlessly. Either use the condom method (put liquid in a rubber end cap, push the carto down into it), or pop the mouth-end tip off and drip into it.

Odds are good that someone else's cartos will fit your e-cig, at a much lower price. Many of these are just rebranded ones, though often relatively lightweight performers from what I've been hearing.

these look like 510 cartomizers. not totally sure of the thread on them but they are not 808 cartos.

If these are a 510 thread on the battery end you can also use 510 attys as well as 510 cartos with the battery.

If you could get over the 'looks like a cig' thing, the eGo and Riva both have great battery life, are available in white/pink/black/silver among others, and use common accessories (510s) that are available almost everywhere. Filling carts and cartos is really not much more involved than squirting dish liquid into the sink (just requires a little better aim).

I use both the 510 and the KR-808

At first I had problems with the 510 battery life but getting a PCC and a couple extra batteries changed all that. A USB passthrough helps too especially if you spend a lot of time in front of a computer.

The 501 wins in the taste department, to me at least it just seems I get more of the full flavor of the juice where the 808 is more convenient since you can just get new cartomizers and toss the old ones when you need to.

Thanks for the quick replys. Would you say that the cartomizers are overpriced on that website then? I have heard alot about the eGo and I will probably get over the whole looks like a cigeratte thing. I just like to avoid all of the attention like "whoah, what is that?". I'm guessing I'll probably just use the one I ordered for a few weeks and then order a 510 or an eGo and use the one I ordered now as a back up in my car or something just incase I forget, run out of liquid or battery life. How much can I expect to pay for a eGo or 510 kit along with enough liquid to last a couple weeks? (I smoke newport 100s or marb reds, usually around 5 or 6 a day so I'm not too heavy of a smoker..)

For some reason I just really don't want to have to deal with the liquid I don't know why. Knowing how often I smoke analogs^, how often would I have to refill liquid in my E-cig?
