Hello everyone. I decided to put my xmas visa gift card to use and buy some 306 LR atties that everyone seems to rave about.

I got the cisco brand from avidvaper. I had read that this is the website of THE Cisco, so I felt good to buy it directly from the source. I got the 2 atties + drip tip for 20 dollars deal: Cisco LR306 1.5 ohm Atomizer + Drip Tip Special - Avid Vaper

Since I will be only dripping on these I was wondering if I should de-wick and/or de-bridge them. I always seem to find conflicting opinions. After butchering an old 510 atty and watching videos of de-wicking a brand new atty, it certainly seems easier to do before it gets all gunked up. Then again, others say the 306's are so great right out the box there is no need to tinker with it. What are your thoughts?

And also, is there much of a difference going from 510 to 306 as far as how you drip? I currently prime a dry 510 with 4-5 drips and top off with 3 while vaping. Is it more or less the same for the 306?

The Cisco LR 306's are a real treat. Treat them well and they will do good by you. I have been using them for awhile and have 30 in my gear box! I DO NOT debridge or pull the wick. Pre prime as you suggested then top off with 3 drops. keep in mind that these atty's plow through juice and I get about 5-6 pulls before needing another 3 drop charge. Do not run them scoarching hot by chain vaping them. Let them cool a bit inbetween pulls and give them a few seconds to cool before dropping cold liquid on them.

Thanks so much for the great tips and advice flagreekguy and Liv2Ski. I think I will heed both of your suggestions and leave them alone and vape them as they are right out of the box. I am so excited! Between having these at home/work to drip with and the new clearomizers I will be getting (hopfully very soon) in the mail I should be set for a while. Now I can focus on trying to figure out what in the world my first mod should be.
