Got juice? :D

Make sure when you get it, that the mode is set to RMS (NO2). Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds and you should see the screen change. Also here's the link for a user's guide:

Not on this version.
You have to hold the - & + buttons at the same time to change from volts/watts.
Holding the + (top right) button will show the attached device ohms
Holding the - (top left) button will show the battery's current voltage.
Pressing the fire button (the big puppy) quickly five times will power on/off the mod.

You are absolutely right! Just checked the user guide. Thanks for correcting me!
Corrected my post on this to reflect the right information

Non of those will change from avg to rms. you will need to hold 10s + or - to chango to no2 (rns) this vame cam in no1 (avg) that is an avarage reading and not precise reading as no2 (rms)

Your setup are correct. But the post was to change NO2 that also is correct and a most do

From my experience, the Vamo is a keeper, it got all the necessity u need, ohm check, battery check, built in short protection, variable...for this kind of price and built, it's a steal! Well atleast from my point of view. Just to add up, it can't fire a sub ohm coil like most electronic PVs, the lowest is 1.2ohm...well that's my 2 cents of sharing...

Can someone link the adapter piece to not mess up the threading on the vamo for me?

Also, I use the Nitecore charger/ Panasonic batteries linked in this thread as that is what everyone here overwhelmingly recommended and have had a great experience. I've been using this setup for about a week now for the Vamo, also use the Pro Tank, which I have grown to love.... just took a few days.

IMOH - you should have ordered the panasonic batts (sets of 2 at this price) and the nitecore charger with it

$10.03 Panasonic CGR18650CH Rechargeable 2250mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Batteries 2-pack - authentic cells / 2-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I am using the vision brand vivi nova's at 7.5 watts and am really going through the juice fast - have a protank coming on Monday to see how I like it and if juice consumption goes down

I go through a lot more juice with mine, I think.... though I'm fairly new to the Pro Tank.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!

But do I really need that adapter to use with the Normal Vivi Nova and Kanger Pro?

No you did not need,, thats for precaution to dont over tight and damage the thresds, just try to dont overtigth or you will put the threds out of place..

With the adapter i can screw it on very tight with no wobling feeling of not tight too mu much,, feels rock solid with the adapter.

If you are not going to use it, screw on untill you feel a bit of pressure

Can someone who has received their Vamo from Fasttech (Sale going on right now) verify that it is actually the stainless steel version and not the chrome version? Lot of us out there wondering right now. I have a chrome and a black chrome version already but want the stainless steel version. Really want to hit the order button on this sale but want to be sure that this is the true stainless version. Thanks!

When I go there it says stainless steel tube with extension $33.14. The chrome is $30.18

Yeah, the issue is that the pictures are most certainly showing the chrome version of the Vamo. Way too much gloss on the body to be brushed stainless. I'm still looking for someone that has actually received the product and can verify that it is in fact the stainless version and not the chrome plated brass. I see that the black chrome version is $30.18 but I do not see the regular chrome version on the site which makes me worry.
