Ordered VAMO v2---Did I get the right batteries?

Hey everyone,
Instead of blowing 100+ bucks on APVs like provaris,evics etc, I got a chrome vamo v2. I roughly surfed the forums and saw there were some battery and other minor issues. I got a pair of Rider 18650 NCM batteries. Will I be fine with these or did I make a little boo boo lol. Or am I fine? I'm so looking forward to getting this in the mail tomorrow because I'm coming off of some Vision spinners. Also if anyone wants to brag/hate on their v2's please do so! Anyways please tell me if I'm good and share you experiences. Thanks, Tanman.

Technically they should work OK. You won't find these on anyone's "highly recommended" list though. If you can, consider sending them back for a refund and buy AW, eFest or another IMR. The Panasonic CGR18650GH *is* on my "highly recommended" list, if you can find them. Amazon has been running a sale on four of them for $26, with free shipping, but they tend to sell out VERY fast so YMMV.

Been vaping with it for over a week and have ordered one for my mom for mothers day (if she'll use it). I'm using 18650's in mine and they work/fit great.

Nice choice! I'm a proud owner of 2 Vamos (chrome and black chrome) with 2 more on the way! Did you know you can put 2 18650 batteries in this beast if you have enough extension tubes?! It's in the instruction manual! This guy may have gone a bit overboard with his extensions; insanity indeed! I've started quite the collection of batteries over the past month which include several 18650's and 18350's. I seem to have a bit more life when using the 350's, but the 650's hold almost a days worth of vaping. No issues whatsoever other than my Aremas Black Chrome tank fit too snugly at the top of the mod which completely restricted airflow. I took one of my smallest drillbits and zipped out a hole in the dripwell. Works like a champ! This is my first real mod after upgrading from eGo and Spinners too and I couldn't be happier! For under $27 bucks how can you go wrong!? Have one set up with this tank for when i'm on the go and the other has a Phoenix RBA. Awesome vape. Enjoy!

I use stacked aw350s at home then when I'm out and about I use just 1 battery in stealth mode lol
