With the shipping charges, possible tariffs/duties/taxes is it even worth the time and hassle to order anything from a wholesaler for personal use? It seems when you add in the shipping time and charges it's better to just use domestic suppliers and look for discounts and sales. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I would not suggest this unless you are going to order in bulk($999>) IMO, it would be worth it then. I would just order from a USA vendor.

I buy most of my stuff straight from the factories when and where possible,,i am getting my juice for 15cents a ml shipped and everything else about half of what it costs to buy from an american vendor even with shipping ,

I just look when that odd, badly set up web site comes up either from ECF or a Google search. I just wondered about how worthwhile it was. And it will take 15 more posts for me to be verified. The collective wisdom on here is great, you just have to dig for it and then do your own research.

Yes, shipping was very slow, about 6 weeks. They claimed the problem was being backed up after Chinese new Year, but I won't bother again.
As alternatives, VaporBreak is good and FastTech is very good.
I wouldnt order juice from china unless i had it lab tested. They will do anything for a buck.

I have just placed my second order with them, Micro Cig vivi novas, very happy with the first batch, shipping was slow but they rebuild great, do not interchange with vision but they may be better, even after shipping cost still a great deal, they take PP so your covered there, and they resopnd fast

Last stuff I vaped from china gave me a massive migraine. Never again..
Im not sure how they extract nicotine or the flavors. My guess in china they slap it to together as cheaply as possible. Toxic chemicals and all. We've all seen the toy recalls cause someone over there decided to paint them with lead paint. JMO

I purchased a half a dozen Vivi Nova kits from FAST TECH a few weeks ago. Received them in about a week. Two bad coils out of 24 coils, one had a short and the other had a broken leg wire. (not a big deal I build my own anyway). I didn't bother with CS they may have replaced them.
I would guess you can expect quality control too be lax but, for the prices just order an extra or two. Bottom line I have already order again from them!

I want to support American local companies whenever possible. I know that part of my motivation for quitting was financial, but I'm already saving so much on vaping, I don't mind a little extra to help our economy. Heck, my local store saved my life, I feel its important to pay them back.
I hear you and don't mind paying a little more for local but, when the state side shops sell the exact same item for $15.00 plus shipping and I can buy it for $3.95 free shipping from China that is where my support ends! Example being the non battery pass through.
