Listen folks, they DO NOT check every single package. Think about this now, seriously. There are probably hundreds of thousands of packages passing through each day, there is no possible way for them to read every Customs Declaration form for the contents of the box. I've had packages clearly marked to contain nicotine juice come through with no issue at all, and I've had a total of one single package (that was not marked with anything e-cig or nicotine) get randomly stopped, inspected, and returned to the sender. One package in about a hundred.

I think it's about high time people start to realize how rare of an occurrence this actually is!

Edit: It doesn't get lost if they won't let it though, either. They return it to the sender, they don't just keep it forever or throw it away. They send you a letter letting you know what was stopped, and why, and then they return it to wherever it came from. There is so much misinformation about this whole thing it's actually beginning to make me crazy!

Thank you for the reply ChellyNelly... I understand what you are saying but it is more so the fact that if you want a tracking number it costs $32.00 for shipping... When I initially ordred this stuff I had no diea it was available in canada and that I could pay $8.00 in shipping and it would be at my door in 2 days... I just wish i could find the apollo cartomizers in canada. This is nothing against apollo by the way, thier customer service is the best I have seen.. ever.. not only with ecigs but any customer service I have dealt with, thier product is also awsome.

Wow, that's extremely crazy for shipping from the US! I've never paid over $10, usually around $5. Shipping is cheaper from the US to me than it is from any Canadian vendor to me, damn Canada Post! I have heard great things about Apollo customer service and products, and there isn't anything wrong with buying over the border IMO. It's a small risk that you will take, but alas, the one time it did go wrong for me the vendor re-shipped once they received it back anyways so it wasn't a big thing for me.

I don't think I've seen Apollo cartos anywhere in Canada though :( I do know someone on this forum from the US that would probably be more than willing to receive the shipment for you and then ship it to you, maybe then you could avoid $40 of shipping charges??

That is an idea Chelly, but if I intend to stay off the analogs I want to make this as smoothe as possible. If I have to I will just buy a new kit from a canadian supplier, the money that Ecigs will save me will be worth it. I don;t want to quit smoking I just want to quit stinking and wasting money and killing myself.. My MIL was just recently diag with lung cancer and I have to quit smoking for my wife, I could not make her go through this twice.

I'm a huge Apollo fan and actually got started on them. I myself have never had a problem with them shipping to me. I do have a friend who had a shipment stopped at the border that came from them. They were really good though and sent it back to her once it was returned to them.
The extreme is a 901. There is not alot of 901 cartos that you can get anymore. Get a 901-510 adapter.
Don't expect your shipment in 2 days though. It can get held up at the border and shipping hubs before it goes across the imaginary line. The extreme batteries are great, and apollo is a good company, but from now on try to stay in Canada.

I'm a 3 month vapor myself and I've ordered several products from the US. Most vendors know not to put anything about nicotine or PV's or e-cigs on the customs forms. I've had descriptions such as "aromatherapy samples" "metal tubes" "gerbil semen samples" and many others...nothing hasn't come through to me. I've heard a few being sent back by customs, but most vendors will just try to re-ship the package. Shmickly, don't get hung up on Apollo's ridiculously huge shipping charges. Though I support Canadian vendors, there's some things I just need that they don't supply. If you're looking for adaptors, there are a couple canadian vendors that do supply them, and I know several US vendors. PM me if you want details.

Here, have a 510-D XXL Boge loaded with brownie batter @ 18mg nic, a triple loaded jam sammich and hazlenut coffee, no need to go crazy........that's my job  (just got one from vapor geek, you would like this :D )

You are correct, and someone who gets packages from my wife who is in Kansas, it comes down to how it is all marked. She has send me in the past: 9 cans of spam (hey i love that army surplus food), floor heater, cartons of cigarettes (hey it was my pre-vaping days), and then she sent me packages with the fuma carts in them. When it comes to pv or pv equipment as long as the supplier marks it as a "gift" under (i think $50), AND marks that it is being sent as part of NAFTA agreement, the custom people cannot say :censored: about it. The only reason why i know this is i have been on the phone with vape bunny as she put packages through ups there and in contacting smokeless image and flat out (yet politely -- who knew i could be nice?) asked if they had issues with the border.

It was smokeless image that told me that on the off change a package was to be sent back to them, they would fire it back in the mail, as indeed customs does not open every package.

This whole big brother mentality is really getting to start to pile up in the :censored: department

Now on the same token the no good for nothing :censored: :censored: :censored: people in the :censored: customs have taken a package that contained a used :censored: laptop with a value of $80 and charged me :censored: $120 in :censored: "taxes"

Phew! Thanks for the relief, doggy :D On the other hand, duties and taxes are absolutely terrible and I *knock on wood* haven't been charged them on anything as of yet. How rude of them!
I will give you a quadriple jam sammich if i can be dawg (as i play the bounty hunter song in my head)

I hope you never do get hit with it...but to get back to the point here, it seems that customs has so much dis-information out there it is uncanny. It would appear like the government is forcing Canadians to buy "local" but on the same time they want to restrict what is being bought.....

Russian used to have a term for this......what was it again? oh yes "communist government"

Had the same kind of thing happen to me. I sent a used thermal printer to a customer of mine in NY for them to test a process. When they sent it back, they wrote value as $10. Customs charged me almost $50 and then UPS hit me up for over $50 in Brokerage fees.
