FWIW to those who prefer PayPal, there IS a PayPal debit card that is accepted anywhere that accepts MasterCard. There are no monthly or transaction fees for it and it has reasonable fees for ATMs and such. The downside to using this as a banking alternative is that there is no way to add money for free without a bank account linked. You have to go purchase a MoneyPak which costs $5 per refill.

Not talking about paypal Internet payment service. You can get a paypal debit card from them that's tied to your account. Use it like any other debit.

I use for most purchases under 150, more detailed than my bank. Plus the instant email whenever there's activity helps.

Ya I deff think im guna just go for the master card thing I can get at cvs, im not a big internet online money acount guy so the hands on simplicity of the bluebird or serv card is apealing to me

I've used Kaiku and American Express prepaid cards. American Express offers the best protection I believe, but I've successfully disputed charges with Kaiku before and I've always gotten my money back from the vendor in question. The Kaiku is Visa, and pretty much accepted everywhere.
