Ordinary Vanilla and diacetyl

Hi

I have read a LOT about diacetyl but i couldnt find answer for my simple question yet. Does ordinary vanilla flavour (lets say from Perf Apprentice for example) contain diacetyl? i know that lots of those buttery/creamy/custardy types do. Thanks for answers

I don't know for sure and I use a different flavoring vendor. You can go to their site and use the Contact Us feature to ask them that question directly. Vendors are usually very happy to allay any fears a potential custormer may have.

Pa has several flavorings in the vanilla category, if you read the info it will tell you which ones have those ingred.

Here is what I found on the TPA website Acetyl propionyl and acetoin might have trace amounts of diacetyl. For more info here is the link.
