Oregon Senate votes to ban sales of e-cigarettes to minors

Also in the bill is a public vaping ban with E-Cigs included in the clean air act. There is no Vape shop exemption in the bill, so while there are exemptions for Cigars in cigar bars and other combustible tobacco products in Smoke shops, electronic cigarettes do not have their own exemption for Brick and mortar stores.

That bit of info is not mentioned in the article. One has to dig into the bill itself.

I heard about this today. I am rather upset that there is no exemption for brick and mortar stores that sell vape systems. It will stop the vape lounges in the area from being able to offer samples. That really sucks for my favorite shop. I like to go in and sample and talk with others and even do some builds on my atty's. So I guess I will go back to vaping only in smoking areas. I really do not think this new law will fix the attraction of underage kids to vaping. Which was the whole design according to the Oregon legislators.
