Origen Dripper RDA --- CLONED---

I have one of these coming in the mail today. Very psyched to try it out. Think I may need to buy the 3D also even though its kinda pricey for a clone. The other dripper I want badly right now is the TOBH. If you haven't seen it, check out tobhmods.com. These things are hard to get right now and everyone who has one says its the best rda they've ever used. Geez every time when I think I have everything I want, something new comes out!

i just got the origen dripper clone in a few days ago, and wow, is this thing fantastic.gonna keep my eye out for the real one, but its pretty tough to find. i also just ordered the 3d clone to try out. im fairly new to dripping (always had them but never really used them) i am now a convert. i love the idea of the dual drip wells. the flavor is outstanding...

this is exactly what im trying to figure out. i like the 3d design with the pump action better, but if it leaks, im all in on the origen. im waiting to hear more info on leaks with the 3d in the 3d thread.
it seems as if folks are saying the origin has fantastic flavor. im hearing the 3d is offering good flavor too but those reports arent being shouted as loudly as the reports from the origen.

Yea me too but I would take the opinion of someone like twisted 420 more to heart as he is someone who has both. And built both of the coils himself. Cause flavor has a lot to do with build and wick.

I'll be building my 3D today. I think there have only been a handful of people who have received their 3Ds which is probably why there isn't more talk about it. I know vapingtech was trying to sort the mailing mishap yesterday so I'm sure more people will chime in soon.

Thus far to be honest I haven't played with the 3D enough yet....been stuck on the Origen! lol It is literally my favorite dripper EVER so far! I use it everyday! Which isn't fair for the 3D...lol Next week i'm gonna use the 3D daily and try a few more builds on it before I do the review to make sure I have done everything right as possible. And thanks for the kind words guys! I try to be honest in all my shiznit and i'll be the first to admit that i'm still learning as well! Hell we all are! lol For S's and G's here is my latest on the Origen......

The "Rain Gutter" build. SS rope with 10 wraps of 26 gauge per coil. Cotton bed in the juice well and cotton up top. Ohm load is 0.3

Got my 3D in today... the threads are spot on .. works seamlessly with the neme... also since the button is adjustable you can match up the symbols too which is a nice clean look .. as far as leaking i dont see that it would.. only possibly if your well is overfilled and you have the big air hole open and lay it on the airhole side.. but if you want to lay it down i would just close the air hole and you should be fine this thing has like 4 o-rings on it and is very secure.. shouldn't have leaking problems with everyday use ...(not many of us lay our mods down on purpose anyway.. pocket i dont think would be an issue.. the taste i think its gonna b good.. i am a crappy builder.. but with silica and a regular coil i have it tasting just as good as my Kraken with a micro coil and cotton.. just my amateur opinion.. i am sure more are coming.. but leaking being a big concern i don't think will be an issue at all ...

Thanks man. I was mainly concerned about pocketing it. I do often have the mod end up at a 45 degree angle or worse sometimes in my pocket.

I too have the 3d. It will leak if over filled.

thanks for the input. i assume it doesnt leak for you when not overfilled.
are you able to close off an air hole and prevent or at least minimize leaking?

I haven't had a leak yet..the 3d also look-a-sharp on the hammer

But if you're choosing between the two for function, I'd go with the origen. I'm wanting to drill out a hole for dual coils on my 3d..cuz I'm a flavor chaser, not a lung hitter. It sounds like you want something to throw in your pocket without worrying about.. that's the only reason I'd choose the 3d over origen.

Anyone put any grommets or other seals for single coil builds on theirs? I was really wanting to do a single horizontal that uses both wells.

how are those cotton tips working out? i assume that you would drip onto those in order to supply juice flow at the top area of the coil?
