I know several of you have the Origen - just wondering - which NT liquids are you liking in it?

What do your builds look like - horizontal? vertical? resistance? single or duel coils?

Have you found any builds that bring out specific dimentions of the more complex Nicoticket offerings? (Like the Maple in The Virus, or the Raspberry in the Betelgeuse?)

I've done horizontal and vertical. I didn't notice much difference except horizontal holds less juice and is note airy.

However I am withholding judgment until I get my dna30 mod since the MVP just can't power dual coils properly and the origen really needs dual coils.

I have however really enjoyed radioactive in it at dual 1.4 at 5v (however, its an MVP so its not pushing the full wattage.)

I've still got my clone with a single vertical coil at 1.4 with one air hole taped, I'm running a cotton wick through it and into both juice wells.
At the moment I'm vaping a mix of 25% GCD 75% CLS and wow, I don't completely understand how that works but it does. I wasn't crazy about the GCD in either dripper and loved it in an Aspire and read about mixing it with the CLS and tried it last night.

I don't understand how mixing it at that ratio makes it taste more like the real thing than vaping it straight does, but I'm not going to question it, just going to enjoy it.

I did a little coil adjusting yesterday as well and am enjoying the Nemmy more, the coil on the Origen had gotten too close to the center post and just wasn't performing all that great, apparently during my rewicking during the power outage I had moved things around in there. lol

So far all of your offerings are good in the Origen clone I have. Duel vertical coils at 0.5 ohms. H1N1 and Be Mine rock in this thing.

I think I am going to start south of .5 - just not sure what direction to put the coils (horizontal or vertical) if I wanted to hit some well steeped CLS in it. Sound like vertical is less airy, maybe try that first?

Verts seem to offer a slightly tighter draw with no adjustment to TH (can't really move the coils up or down). Keep in mind I'm an airflow junkie so even with both air-holes open to the biggest size the Origen still feels "restricted" compared to my Stillare and Omega.

Yeah but horizontal was really airy for me. Vert was more to my liking.

I get my dna30 tomorrow! Delayed two days, stupid usps. Can't wait to build at around .6/.7

Went vertical, 3-4 wraps of 28gu Kanthal weighed in under .5, loaded up The Virus - dry hitting every 3rd hit with the wells full. ARGH

How do you have it wicked? You want almost no cotton in the wells, and I used one wick in both. Well, coil, over around the side through the other coil, into the well.

What wick setup are you using? This is mine using 28 ga 8 wraps @ .7 Ω. The cotton loops over to the other well and I never get dry hits, unless I'm dry. Have not tried your juices on this yet as they are still steeping but with this setup the cinnamons really pop and the depth of vanilla notes are amazing.

Do you get any spit back with this setup?

Got my dna30 today, and it is ROCKING the origen. Hoooolllyyyy crap, totally different world I am in.

So much flavor and dense vapor. Dunno why your getting dry hits Clark, maybe wick was too tight?

I rewicked it, duel micros, 6-7 wraps of 28gu Kanthal, landed at .5ohms... still breaking it in but seems to be doing better now. Hitting Gravity at the moment (65/35), going to work my way into thicker liquid. Still chuckin' the vapor despite the high PG though.
