Okay so I'm not sure if anyone has heard about how great the origen dripper is. Some say it produces the best flavour due to the reduced chamber. So I stumbled across this site.

Apparently a v2 is coming out with a shorter chamber. And, wait for it.... it will come with a option hollow center post for bottom feed version! Im kinda stoked although haven't tried the original v1 dripper. Didn't come around to buying one as I got the REO recently and didnt feel like forking out another 100 bucks for a top dripper. But the v2 seems promising. Any thoughts on this?

Looks like you will need a low profile for it to fit.

Yup! Looks like I'm finally ordering a Low Profile then!

I had an Origen on loan for a few weeks. Man, that Origen does dual coils right. I remember wishing "If they could somehow do away with some of that reservoir, and get a bottom feeding rda to set-up and vape like this..."

I'm a bit confused about how practical it will work as a bottom feeder, though I have faith because the original vaped so damn brilliantly. I have no doubt it would even be an option if it didn't work perfectly.

This is gonna be a good one, guys!

Yup have a low profile too. Only thing is I just ordered a BF cyclone and AFC cap

I was holding out on ordering the LP Grand, waiting for the sub kits, so consequently I was holding out on the AFC as well. Also, I was a bit on the fence for the AFC because the general consensus from users is it's a bit lacking in flavor compared to the RM2, and I'm not a cloud chaser.

I'm very happy with my RM2.

BUT; I happen to know personally (my opinion, of course) that the Origen brings the flavor game to another level... I'm going to say that it's the best tasting RDA/Topper I've ever used, hands down.

Jeeze... can you tell I AM REALLY EXCITED about this??? It's gonna be so damn yummy... and ON MY REO!!!:D

While the RM2 is great, I have to give the edge to the Cyclone, in either its regular or AFC version. The chambers work out to being the same size in either configuration, so it's all down to the balance of resistance/overall wattage and airflow. I have 2 cyclone bases (top feed and bottom feed) and 3 caps - one standard with standard airhole, one standard cap drilled to 1/16", and one AFC cap. I use all 3 regularly, depending if I want a completely stock feel, a mildly more open draw, or if I want to run wild sub ohms and cloud chase. Flavor is all build dependent, but all things considered I have to give the Cyclone more points, despite my love for the RM2. I've even used an Origen, and while it is great, it's probably a number 2 or 3 in my list of favorite RDAs - Just under the RM2 and Cyclone.

It's the only atomizer that will my topping my (soon to be mine) LP grand.

EDIT: The Cyclone AFC also has the ability to run with just the single stock airhole - so really, if you have an AFC you don't need a stock cap. I just remembered that and am now using it that way, haha (Stock airhole is 1mm)

I think Norbert knows what he's doing very well, the V1 is one of the best things I've ever had and he has a bottom feeder too (Sunbox E7). I'm really waiting for the V2 and will order a LP Grand as soon as Rob finished the Woody-masacre (want a special color-combination).

I am SO with you brother! :D

It may not look real hot...22mm and my grand top is about 19mm unless my eyes suck.

For sure, a 22mm atty does indeed hang over an LP catch cup a bit, though it's not terribly odd looking to me. No worse than the exposed milled bottom of the RM2, or better yet a random round circle sticking out on top a box mod in the first place IMO.

Filthy-Beast converted a 22mm Patriot for his LP, you can get an idea of what a 22mm looks like on an LP Grand in his mod thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/511025-patriot-rba-mod.html

The chamber diameter inside that 22mm package of the Origen is super tiny. All the size comes from the thickness of the steel cap. It's obnoxiously thick; like, regular PV body tubes aren't nearly half as thick as the Origen's cap.

Looking on the bright side of the situation:

I'm thinking if I had enough liquid courage put in me, I might be tempted to have someone grind the Origen V2 cap down into some flat/sharp/abstract angled outer surfaces with a belt sander. There's definitely enough metal to grind away and play with before you remotely affected it's ability/durability to snap together while still functioning as designed perfectly... Now that would probably look pretty damn sexy with the angles of a Reo...

Drooling right now....

So, my Origen BF has been with me for two days now. The short version is: buy one if you can and have a LP Grand.

It is very different from the likes of RM2, Trident or IGO-S and it produces better flavor than anything else I ever had on a bottom feeder. It goes through twice as much liquid, too, but that's to be expected.

The flavor is on par with the Immortalizer which so far was the best dripper I knew - but the Origen is a native dual coil and bottom feedable - and with AFC.

The flavor is great even with wide open 2x2mm holes.

The liquid feed hole is above the reservoir, so there is no back sucking the liquid into the bottle. Instead, it will quite happily go into the reservoir, where it's held by a layer (not a bale) of cotton and then wicked to the vertical coils.

The squonking pattern is a bit different from the usual BF atties. You can go longer without squonking, but the squonk is more a five or six count than a three count for an RM2.

I can't wait for the sub ohm kits - I feel they are really required when using the Origen in dual coil mode. Mine is at 0.7 Ohms now and I don't want to go lower with the standard setup I have on this Grand.

I didn't find the time for pictures yet, but they will come, I promise.

Edit: Oh, and yes, it blocks the door going up - by half a hair

Hows the wicking from the wells to the vertical coils if you chain vape?

Freshest vape for me its the RM2 as you can drown the coil in every squonk and drain it efficiently to avoid cooking your juice.

I have a V1 right now but it's the same concept. I'm running 0.5Ω dual 10 wraps 27ga coils. No wicking issues and no dry hits for me. I can get 4 lung hits a refill and the wicks are still saturated. I could probably get 1 more but I drip as soon as I can see the bottom of the juice wells. Here's how I wick mine.

The question is - why is it coming with a brass center post and you get the SS version only for an extra $10 ?
Why not vice versa ? Who really wants a potentially poisonous brass in his atomizer ?
Everyone I've asked bought the optional SS center post.
I'm not sure if it's a marketing trick or maybe the manufacturer really believes that most people wants brass in their lungs.
If it's a $10 more profit issue, it was better to raise the price accordingly from the beginning, instead of making the users breath brass.
Just my opinion..
