Q: Is it rude to ask a vendor when contest vape mail might arrive? If so, after how much time would it be okay to inquire?

No, I don't think it is rude if given the proper amount of time. After all, they ran the contest and made the promise to the winners so I think Count has the right idea but then again. unless this vendor had given out a large number of prizes, I am not sure I would ever be able to bring myself to order from them in the future.

Will keep it going...

New question: Do you have any mech mods? If so which ones?

Nope, no mech mods at the moment. I've been thinking about getting one for awhile, but for now I'm happy with my VV/VW devices.

New question...what do you do with juices that you don't like...do you PIF, sell or trade them?

I gave the juices I didn't like to family. A week or two ago I mailed around 60mL in 5mL-15mL bottles to my mom, and before that I gave my cousin two 10mL bottles when I got him set up with a starter kit.

New Question: Is it rude to ask a vendor when contest vape mail might arrive? If so, after how much time would it be okay to inquire?

I definitely don't think it's rude, but I'd make sure to give them ample time to either send it or explain why they haven't. So I'd probably wait at least a week, possibly two, before I bothered them.

Pick or answer all three:

Q: Do you have any mech mods? If so which ones?
Q: What do you do with juices that you don't like...do you PIF, sell or trade them?
Q: Is it rude to ask a vendor when contest vape mail might arrive? If so, after how much time would it be okay to inquire?

It is definitely not rude to contact the vendor once or twice if an appropriate amount of time has lapsed. Vendors get busy and that's understandable. How they handle contest winners and the prizes gives good insight on how they handle their business and if I would consider ordering anything from them in the future.

Now that the difference has hopefully been clarified (thanks guys and gals), I'll ask again because inquiring minds want to know  ....

do you prefer a regulated mod or a mechanical mod and why??

Q: What do you do with juices that you don't like...do you PIF, sell or trade them?

I PIF them...have gotten several into vaping in the past few months and some of them are starting to get others into vaping so they hit me up for the higher nic juices I have that am not using any longer. It works out good and I like this domino effect...

Q: If you win a juice and the vendor asks you to review it and you thought it was really bad from quality to taste... do you review it? Tell the vendor or just ignore the whole thing?

Q: Do you have any mech mods? If so which ones?

 I think I only have 2 . . .

That I got for extremely reasonable prices and could afford to get at the time . . . a "KTS2 w/ VW PCB electronic controller {a Kick2 Clone} w/ fitted Case" ("The KTS2 is a solid stainless steel telescopic mod that will accommodate any 18650, 18500, 18490 battery.") and a Rainbow "18 Arhat w/ VW PCB electronic controller {a Kick2 Clone} and eGo Case" ("It uses an 18650 battery if you don't use the included PCB VW controller, and with an 18500/18490 battery with the PCB") . . . ;)

Q: What do you do with juices that you don't like...do you PIF, sell or trade them?

Depends on the type of "E-Liquid", how "BAD" it is and/or how long I have actually held on to it to see if it will get any better, and if I can find someone that wants it I will PIF . . . I do not sell or trade them, especially since most all the "E-Liquids" I have - have come from Contest or "My" ECF Friends trying to help "Me" find "My" ADV and I wouldn't feel right . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Q: Is it rude to ask a vendor when contest vape mail might arrive? If so, after how much time would it be okay to inquire?

NOPE - Especially if it has been longer then a week since they have contacted "You" after Ya' WON (Like "Count's" Suggestion ) . . . Now - If it has taken "You" longer then a week to contact the vendor with "Your" personal information and what Ya' want when it comes to "E-Liquids" then it becomes complicated . . .

Personally, I have had to contact one vendor for over 3 months, before I was sent a prize I won and when it came it was missing a number of necessary items that they expected "Me" to purchase, as can be expected I never did and have nothing to do with that vendor in any way . . . Matter of fact, I PIF the items I won to the "PIF Emergency Thread" so someone else who need them could use them . . .

BTW: When and if a Vendor does not fulfill their promise to award the prize offered in a contest in a reasonable or timely manner there are people in ECF Administration that "You" can contact to have them help "You" too . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Let's Keep Them Going - Pick 1, 2, or All of them . . .

AND - A New Question . . .

Q: If "You" Won a contest and the item sent was either - not the item offered as the prize, DOA, or broken . . . AND - If the Vendor refused to do anything or to respond to "Your" PM or Email . . . What would "You" do ? ? ?

I won on june first,pm'd,e-mailed and put it in his thread that I haven't received anything in return on any of the forms of communication and asked if others have received anything, nothing at all, then he posts a new flavor when others have asked the same in the same thread.Just blew us off.So yeah,it is OK to ask after a period of time.Yes they get busy, some put ya on hold till paying customers are caught up (perfectly fine) but to ignore you after many attempts to contact them is un acceptable.

Wow, I have not had that happen. 1st, I would report them to ECF. 2nd, I didn't want/need the item, I would PIF it. 3rd, I wouldn't deal with that vendor again, contest or not!

I always PIF (or trade), I don't think open juice bottles should be re-sold. It's like selling an open bag of half eaten potato chips!

speaking of juices, the mailman just delivered my omg juice win from last week! That was fast!! It smells great, too!! I need to go find a tank to put it in!!

Q: what do you do with the juices you don't like?

A ok do I'm pretty new but I have gotten Some juices that I didn't love at first. I just don't use them for a while and then think hmmm I think I'll try that one again and then I love it. I can't imagine I would hate any kind of flavor unless its soapy tasting or something its not supposed to have??? Im afraid to get any of the tobacco flavors but I do want to try some!

Q: has anyone ever tried a cigar flavor? I was looking at a cigar vanilla and wondered what it would taste like?!?!

Had to go with the mango, and honestly, it's the best mango I've had yet!! I've already gone through a whole tank this evening, it tastes just like taking a bite out of a fresh chunk of juicy mango!

Which one did you get? I got the SK-5 (skittles) and its really really good.. High flavor content.. :toast:

I'm not crazy about mangos but my sister loves them so to each his own..

The only mangos I have ever tried, were some way over ripe mushy ones my cousin brought up from Florida once when I was a kid. They looked so unappitizing, and I had to try them any way to be polite. I've never wanted to try them again because of that.

I suppose I should try them again, they probably are good when they aren't mushy!!!

Lernaia Hydra and Zorba Attachment has finally arrived. Made by El Cig Art in Greece, the Hydra is a 100% Mechanical device (no electrical parts). The Lernaia Hydra is modular which accommodates use with a single 18350, 18500/18490, or 18650 battery.
