I have been to Las Vegas for New Years a few times, and I had a ton of fun every time. Of course it was when I was 14-16 years old, so I wasn't able to have as much fun as I could have had.

The one thing I have been wanting to do more than anything since I turned 21 is visit Vegas, but I still haven't gotten around to doing it. I think I'm gonna start planning/saving up for New Year's 2015 :)

When we were in Russia, on weekends we went to the dacha in Ivanovo and worked in the garden. The dacha villages weren't fancy, they had simple wooden houses, and a lot of people from Moscow loaded up their cars with flats of seedlings for the garden every weekend. While you were there, you worked in the garden, cooked lots of good food, and partied and ate with all your dacha friends!

This isn't the dacha we went to, we never thought to bring the camera there, and it was in the days before cell phones, so I grabbed a dacha photo off the internet.

Disneyland. Visited multiple times, and had loads of fun each time. One visit that really stands out was when my entire class went for Grad Night our senior year of High School. My friends and I met up with some girls who had smuggled mini-bar beverage bottles inside their bras, so we got drunk while watching Mr. Mister and Wang Chung perform on Tom Sawyer's island and then went crazy on the rides.

Another place that I had a lot of fun is the Grand Canyon, when I was 16 my aunt (who is like the coolest person ever) and I hiked down into it and stayed in a motel for a few days. The scenery was absolutely amazing, for a mile it would be nothing but dirt and rocks, and then you would find a little creek and there would be trees and bushes all over the place. We saw deer up close a few times, as well as a few snakes. The place we stayed in was right near the Colorado river, as well as an awesome little creek that had a little waterfall. It was so much fun! :D
