We had one of those exact Nativity Scene too (BTW: "My" older siblings would get into trouble not for just moving the figures, but for doing what shouldn't be done with them or hiding them . . .
). . . AND - "My" mother was adamant it was setup every year . . . Along with a couple of these displayed on each side . . .

Mom's Nativity Scene. Mom had this before she had Me so I have never had a Christmas with out it. I used to get into trouble for moving the figures round

I remember the kids would have to try & keep busy on Christmas eve while Mom & Dad would be wrapping & doing the last minute things so we would play a "friendly" game of Monopoly.......
