Hi. Someone from another forum kindly offered me a small bottle with his own recipe of the original Ruyan, it must have been RY1 I suppose. At first I liked it but not that much since I thought there was something of mint or menthol in it, which is a totally personal opinion. Then, it grew on me. It isn't fantastic, but it's nice for vaping frequently. Only... I PMd that person asking where he got the flavour from and got no answer. I went to Ruyan's site and there's nothing interesting, namely I didn't see any flavours there. From what I checked, RY1 still exists for sale as an eliquid, as 2, 3 and, certainly, 4 (usually crafted by Dekang or something). My question is: would anybody know where one could get the RI1 flavour (not the eliquid)? Many thanks. :)

19 views already and despite the title that says it all no one seems to know. It's clearly more difficult than I thought. But I'm sure someone will come along with the answer! :2cool:

RYE4... seems to be the holy grail of DIY juice. From what I've read, RYE1 is the least sweet going from 1 to 4 (or 5?). There seems to be a million variations of the flavour. The only pre-made RYE4 that I've tried was Dekang but unfortunately it was too long ago to remember what it actually tasted like, but I'm still obsessed with trying to find the perfect RYE4 just because everyone else is too.

Start with a tobacco flavour/extract/absolute that you like (or a combination of those). Then experiment with adding any or all of the following: Ethyl Maltol, caramel, butterscotch, maple syrup, vanilla, irish cream, hazelnut, and probably others....

I've found that trying to mix that illusive RYE4 has helped me get to know some of my flavours much better, and certain combinations taste pretty good.

DISCLAIMER: Everything I am about to say is 100% pure speculation. I have only modified tobacco flavored juices, I have not created my own, only non-tobacco flavored juices.

Perhaps some RY4 with bitter wizard? I've read that bitter wizard cuts the sweetness of the juices it is added to. So if RY1 and RY4 are similar enough other than sweetness, it's worth a try.

Sorry if I just got you excited about a possible response, only to leave you with this guess

Well, I do have Bitter Wizard as a flavour (I add it to, say, Tuscan Reserve, for example, even though I buy mostly a few well chosen pre-made liquids these days). Just no idea where to find the RY flavour... Anyway, I know now it came from some place named ecig.com. But it seems they started to misbeahave and now it seems the shop doesn't exist anymore... :(

EDIT: I did find the site where they had the Ruyan (had the wrong address) but the only similar flavour they claim to have now is the RY4...
