How nice of the manufacturer to reduce the price just in time for xmas.
Interesting that the timing of this "sale" coincides with the ever increasing popularity of the better priced DSE 905.
Why would anybody need to purchase a back up of the worlds most indestructible battery pack?
Are they getting stolen at an alarming rate?

I have been using one screwdriver for 99.9%(361 days) of the past year. The other 0.1%(4 days) I used my "backup" SD because I misplaced my first. One reason to have more than one.
I just bought another SD today. Why? I will keep this one in my truck. If I happen to lose mine while at work, I will have another on hand. One reason to own three.
For now, my original SD is scratched and gashed and still works like day one. As long as I don't lose it, or do something stupid to it, it should be around for many more years.
I think some people are just too clumsy and forgetful to put down good money for a good product that they will end up losing and/or abusing.

I came into the vaping world at the beginning of this year, at that time there was only the ecigs provided by the Chinese Market, and the prices were quite high for those, and the reliability was poor.
I made a point of researching as much as I could and found trog and his Screwdriver, which had been on public sale for several months.
I bought one for my husband, who was at the point of giving up vaping due to the unreliability of batteries. Nine months on, he still has that Screwdriver, and his back up one, should he leave it at work or something ( which he never has, as its seldom out of his hand..lol)
I have the greatest respect for trog, and the fact that his product, made my husband, a heavy smoker for 45 years, who was coughing fit to burst, every day of his life, a non smoker, who now stands a chance of living a lot longer..
Call it an antique, call it what you like, buy one, dont buy one, I dont care, thats your choice, and Stickless, just dont continually down a product you dont even own..
I personally dont use a Screwdriver, as im not fond of the bottom button, but thanks to trog, taking those first steps, there are other models out there, plenty to suit everyones tastes and needs.
Would I buy the cheaper version? hell no, I wouldnt because I believe you get what you pay for..
I cant afford to waste any more money on unreliable PV's, I did plenty of that at the beginning of my vaping days...lol
But the choice is up to the individual, to say I can only afford a low priced item, to me says you did not smoke a great deal. I decided that to begin with any money I would have spent on cigarettes I would be happy to pay on finding a suitable PV for my needs, after all I would have found a way of paying for cigarettes..
I am not telling anyone what to buy, again its personal choice, just dont try and destroy with words, something you know nothing about.
