9-11 was one of the big reasons I joined...i was too young at 9-11 but joined shortly after I turned 17, I agree and kinda excited about this
I'm worried about our guys and gals still there and honestly concerned about retaliation if someone tried to step up and replace him. kwim? Praying double time for our troops right now.
There is always the risk when you remove a leader that someone worse will fill the void, which is why this is far from over.

I can't get the 9/11 visions that are seered into my mind,on the most tragic thing to ever happen during my life. My thoughts are with the families of all the victims, beginning with 9/11, to our fallen troops since. And, to our troops still in the Middle East. My prayers go up, and out to all our service women, and men.

From a friends FB page - she worked in the WTC but wasn't at work that morning due to illness. She was actually sitting in a Dr office when it all went down...

uhhh hate to question our goverment and all that- but 'buried at sea' less than a day after being killed?? I didnt fiqure they would parade him around the states in a casket like they did the James Gang, BUT, did fiqure they would allow a few other countries to validate it and such. it just seems fishy to me.
quittin - Bin Laden was Muslin and the religion decrees that the body be buried within 24 hours (no more than 1 sun set). Burial at sea is only permitted if it is feared that the body may be desecrated if buried in the ground. I think it's safe to say there was/is that concern.
didnt know about the 1 day thing- but still- hmmmmm...... they did say they didnt want his burial place to be a shrine or anything- but it just seems quick and covert..
of course, I am just a total skeptic anyway- LOL

The government likes to keep us in the dark but there is absolutely no way that they are fooling us about Bin Laden, the proof is in Obama's speech. If he were lying about the death of Bin Laden, or was wrong about it in anyway.. The truth would eventually come out... That would mean a second "Oopsie" speech which would entirely demolish his presidential reputation. I am 100% positive that the facts were checked and re-checked before the president made that announcement. There is absolutely no reason for them to lie to us about this - If they were going to they would have done it sooner than 10 years after one of the biggest devastations to our country.
