I'm currently using the Atlantis. I used the nautilus for 3 months but was looking for a more powerful vape. I love the Atlantis when it works, but I'm still having a problem with my coils burning out. I run sweet juice, but that shouldn't hinder the life so much that I only get two days out of one. I'm using a Hana clone and am running between 25-30 watts. I recently learned I was using the Atlantis incorrectly when I was running at lower watts and have since been vaping higher. I'm looking for something that's better than the nautilus in flavor and vapor production that has pre made coils, but that isn't in sub ohming territory. Does anything exist in between the aero tank/nautilus and building/Atlantis type tanks? I really want the Atlantis to work for me. I'm even willing to buy a new mod to run it. As of now though I just can't afford it if the coils are only going to last two days, and my battery life is only going to last an hour. Any advice would be appreciated.

The Subtank is Kanger's answer to Aspire's Atlantis. The original is available now, works well and does have 1.2 ohm heads available (it comes with a 0.5 ohm and a 1.2 ohm).

If it were me though, I would probably work on what's wrong with your setup before just buying a new device. Your results with the Atlantis are definitely not normal, and if that is consistent across multiple coil heads then we need to look somewhere else. That leaves us with juice or the mod. What PG/VG blend are you using? Have you tried different juices? Are you sure the Hana clone is putting out the voltage you think it is?

I've tried multiple brands of juice including itc, nicoticket, and tasty cloud. They're mostly 50/50 or 40/60. I don't think it would be the juice, as others use the same brands and are getting weeks from there coils.

As for knowing if my mod is working correctly, I have no idea. I know nothing really of ohms law or how to check the volts. I'm only asking a lot of questions now, because I know walking into the store they probably won't be much help. I'll be really bummed if I have to stick with the nautilus.

You probably need to run that at at least 25w, and it's probably going to gunk up less all the way at 30w if you can deal with the vape at that power level.

I've got an Atlantis and a Subtank, and I'm probably going to pick up a Subtank Mini or Nano. Why? Because I like the coils in the Subtank, don't like the size, and mine leaks. So what is it about the Subtank that leads me to buy the newer versions? The pre-built coils. Super easy to rewick, take about a minute, anyone with fingers and a toothpick can do it, takes maybe two minutes if you do a dry burn and rinse of the coil, but either way much less hassle than the RBA deck, and better airflow. And obviously, throwing out a few pennies worth of Japanese cotton makes a lot more sense than $4 to $5 per new coil head. And if you want to do a full rebuild with coil and wick, it's pretty easy too.

So if flavor starts going off, I don't stress about popping the tank and rewicking, but with a five buck coil, I often find myself riding it down to the bitter end.

I also love my Atlantis, love the cooler vape, flavor is good, small tank doesn't even bother me that much. But yeah, my Atlantis heads last me about a week using my preferred dessert juices, if that, and they're a PITA to rewick/recoil.

What kind of charger do you have and what kind of battery's do you have also how many times have you charged these battery's since you bought them ?

What is the difference re wicking a sub tank and re wicking a lemo ? takes me about two min to re wick my lemo or change the coil to whatever ohms of my choosing.....
