I have a Zmax coming that has the mysterious 8th menu that's supposed to fix the issue to bad they have to release it with the issue to begin with Hu Ive got an Idea lest start a pool and see how many versions they have to release befor they get it right. I say Z5 and with a green LEDThey are probably dumping all the original ZMax chips before they come out with a new one that actually shows correct real life voltage and wattage settings.
Mmm well the wattage is pretty good on the Z .... Not the VOLTS though
My point exactly dont get me wrong Im not saying its a useless piece of junk but its over priced at the present time and needs some more time in the oven before its was released. I wonder if the Smoktek people are gritting their teeth and saying stupid Americans I cant believe they put our stuff in a plastic tube and are under selling us!!!! I hope so!!!!

so basically the new STAINLESS Zmax's have an 8th menu option that more accurately depicts the median voltage? to the OP- Awesome mod and the price is great. MV does good things.

So, like, Mr. I like Buzzzes was kinda wrong about the new 8th menu SS Zmax's being off? His meter was wrong? Because if I'm not mistaken, the RMS is the correct wattage, so, why is his meter saying the Zmax is off, if it now goes by RMS? Is it still off, even a teeny bit, like he says? I'm only asking because, from the in-depth reviews I've watched concerning the Zmax and RMS... The Zmax was "burning hot" (to put it simply) because Smoktech was tired of hearing the US say their devices were less powerful than US mods. So then we complained about them "burning hot" and now they are putting out this new SS zmax that accurately uses the RMS wattage to appease those complainers. So is the problem fixed or what?
Sorry if I'm getting annoying, its 3:30am and I've been going to sleep around 1am lately so I'm 2.5h past my bedtime and I'm starting to get a bit loopy over here. I shouldn't really care so much about this damn Zmax and the new RMS Zmax and all of these damn devices I don't even own but, then again...

I've always assumed that Smok released their products this way on purpose, just like Apple. Instead of making it the way it should be the first time around, they release the first one on hype. Doesn't work right, so round 2 with a few more things they could have done in the first place. Then round 3, 4, 5.....etc. Same way Apple does it. Instead of just releasing it right with everything they need first time around, do it several times so people will go ditch their 4 month old devices and buy the newest thing!
