I have read all this thread and IMO the OP was not bashed really. He opened it up and asks questions and got answers. Everyone has a right to their opinion and everyone has a right to buy whatever PV they want. Everyone is different and that's why they make so many different styles of PV's.

I can tell you from my experience that I was never a Provari fanboy, but I have wanted to try one for a long time but just could not afford the price tag which seemed outrageous at that time. Then I finally got the opportunity to pick up a used Provari on the classified at a reasonable price. Which is no easy feat when most sell them for more than you can buy a new one.

But anyway I got lucky and picked one up only to get it and it stopped working. I contacted Provape and they were very helpful. I sent it in to them for repair and got it back in great working condition all in just under a week. Now that is great customer service.

My point here is you would never get that level of customer service from China. That said I know it is difficult to buy certain items depending on what country you live and some have to opt for a lesser quality lesser priced item.

I bought a Vnax and paid $95.00. It was OK but now that I have a Provari I understand better the quality and customer service that goes with it and feel that $159.00 price tag is well worth it.

if they are truly genuine provape devices, then i guess they came from provape, one of the fine american companies to which i alluded. that wasn't my point, though. why would i order something from a different country when that product is already manufactured and distributed here in america? there's no reason to pay extra for shipping, customs or whatever when i can get it directly from provape and keep all my money here in our economy. right?

My point is that the ProVari's IT Qualitygate are selling do come from ProVari.
Obviously you wouldn't buy a ProVari from them because you live in America but if you did buy from the Swiss company, you'd still be supporting an American company - Provape.

Just want to mention something here
many people say that lava tube for example is from china, which they mean that it has poor quality. but sorry, china can produce good quality and poor quality depends on vendors requirement, if supplier asks manufacture in china to produce high quality they will do it with higher prices. and I want to mention that the best phone in the world (Iphone) is from china, the best tablet in the world (iPad) is from china. overall they will do what you ask them to do.
I agree lava tube is bad quality, but Vtube SS from apollo is also from china but it has really good quality
I had lavatube and sold it, it is really cheap device. I bought Vtube ss, it has really good quality but not powerful device, thats why I will go head and buy the Provari

Vtube SS is a good comparison, but not iPad/iphone. When dealing with one of, if not the, most weathly companies in the world who make millions of units and provide you with millions of dollars, you have to make sure everything you make for them is of good quality. I cant speak for vtube ss as i do not own one, but for apple items, yes the quality of them are outstanding.

You forgot number 3. People who own a Provari, but prefer their other devices :).

And number 4. People who own one, love it, and are still trying other devices. There is room for more than one PV in my aresenal. I love my Glock, but that won't stop me from wanting a 1911.

True :). Actually, I don't hate my Provari, but I finally disassembled the tank that had been sitting on it for months unused. I occasionally screw a carto on when something else is being charged, but the Provari is just too heavy and slippery (in this Tokyo humidity), so I switch out again soon.

Btw, I am loving my latest little VV device, the iTaste!
