Hey everyone, I read this wonderful forum often and now I need your help!

I've been vaping for over a year now, I bought the Janty eGo when they first hit the market, in fact my timing was perfect on my order and I actually got one of the first models available to the public!
However.. I'm outgrowing my eGo, it's served me well but i need something more out of vaping. I don't have a huge understanding of the batteries, voltages, and mods but I'd like some help from you all on my next ecig purchase. So i'll post my questions in list form to make them easy to answer, and thank you all again!

1. I've got my eye on the Precious L, but production is weary, is there anything similar or BETTER that's available in america? I'm not really looking to use 6v as I like longevity in my atomizers.

2. I really like low resistance atomizers, love them. I drip with LR and i'll never look back, can you use LR atomizers with those big boy e cigs such as the precious L?

3. How mobile are these custom e-cigs? Do you guys travel with them?

4. I really really enjoy high quality, well made, made to last construction. The eGo, allthough its doing it's job, feels a bit cheap to me. Keep that in mind when you're recommending something :) Although I hear they have new XL batteries and attys. hm..

Thanks guys, I'm out of the loop and not current with who's making the highest quality mods out there these days.. I buy my juice and atties from NHaler and they're wonderful. Please, let me know if something is new and noteworthy.

THANK YOU ALL, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!:p

Hey guys, OP here.. thanks for the tips so far. I'm looking for people who use mod/ecigs like Precious L, ProVape ProVari, Super T Precise and what their experience with these devices is based on my query above ( which is the best? can you use LR atties? how mobile? what size device(battery) do you recommend? )

Thanks ! :)

EDIT: I'd like to stay 510 Size, 800+ mAh, charges no less than 8 hours in between charges..
you guys are awesome, I know you can help me :)

I just watched a video on the Precious on YouTube
It appears to be very nice.
I have a ProVape 1. It appears to be similar in size.
I love the ProVape for it's durability, vapor production and with the AW batteries, great battery life.
My Provape has some groves (kinda) for your fingers to rest on. I really like that as well.
I use the LR cartomizers and again, vapor production is awesome.
You might want to check that out as well.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Cool! Thanks for the input, I don't think I'd buy the ProVape 1, although it looks cool, The ProVari looks even cooler :) and yes, the Precious L looks A M A Z I N G to me.. however, I'm looking for similar if not better variations of that model as they're located in Bulgaria and the poor guy is all alone in making these, could be months before that order goes through.. Maybe, if it turns out that Precious L v2 is available soon i'll just bite the bullet on the order time.

Anyone use the Precise? whats the difference between 16340 and 18650 batteries besides the size? Does the 18xxx actually last that much longer?

Keep it comin guys!

I purchased a Precise 16 as an "upgrade" mod, and I love it! I use the 510 LR attys that came with it, and I drip most of the tiime, so I have 2 of Super T's stainless drip tips. This mod is small enough to travel with, for sure, and when I drive on longer trips, I pair it up with the Vapemate, and I can vape and drive with ease! I like the Precise models because of the separate batteries, too. I have had good success in the timing of having one on the charger while I vape with the other in the pv, then when it's time to change the battery, I have one ready. And, it's nice knowing that if I need to replace one of those batteries, they are much less expensive than buying the battery end of most other pv's (like the RIVA eGo, 510, Leo, etc.). The Precise is very well made, so I anticipate that it will last forever.

With that said, I'm also loving my Leo quite a bit. I have had it for a couple of weeks, and as far as "mechanical" mods go, I find the long battery life, nice attomizer, and flexibilty of dripping or using the carts.

I still use my eGos, and my 510s, mostly at work - for stealth vaping.

Good luck in your jouney to find the best pv for you! :)

All of the big battery mods will give you extended charge time using them at 3.7V. My only experience, so far, is with the Black Silver Bullet.

But, I'm expecting delivery on my Precise 18650 any day now, this week probably. It uses the same 18650 as the BSB. But, as you said, "I really really enjoy high quality, well made, made to last construction.", and the P18 definitely fills that bill. Even though I don't have it in hand the build quality is what sets it apart from most other big battery mods ... and, it is much smaller than the BSB due to its stainless steel construction. I got the VapeMate to go with it for self juicing. :)

^ thanks for the info, on the Precise which size do you have? I'm looking at the 18650 and it looks HUGE. I don't think i could do it, I need to travel with the device.. What size do you use? how long do the batteries in the precise last?

When will the ProVari come out guys? I dont find any info on it, is it over kill for someone who wants a bullet proof mod with a good size long lasting battery? I dont really care much about hitting 6v or over at all.

I can never tell how big or small these things are in the videos

TJ-

I wasn't sure if you were following up with me or someone else, but I use the Precise 16340. It is shipped with 2 batteries (AW ICR 123) and the charger. I would estimate that one battery lasts for about 3-4 hours - depending on how "much" I'm vaping. As far as the size, it isn't really much different in size from the RIVA eGo fully assembled with battery, atty, and drip tip. It is a little larger in diameter, but it actually is a nice size in my hand (female). The P18 is a little larger, however, it can be used with two different types of batteries, so you can have a bit higher voltage for vaping. I know there are several P18 owners, so they can obviously tell more of their experiences. I don't know this for sure, but I'm guessing the battery life for the P18 would be greater. Just a guess there. Hope that helps!

Here is a photo of the Precise 16340 with an eGo.

And, here are the dimensions of all three Precise models:
Precise 10440: 12mm x 83mm
Precise 16340: 18.5mm x 74mm
Precise 18650: 20mm x 104mm

is the button on the Precise awkward at all? I've not used that style trigger before, does it go off in your pocket?

by the way, the way I vape I don't know if 3-4 Hours per battery would be ideal for me.. I like to vape hard when I drive, a battery going out on me and having to carry several per day might be annoying.. that P18 looks really slick though. I dont mind the width as long as it's not like vaping from a paper towel rod.. the silver bullet, too huge.

I believe you can adjust the "trigger" on the bottom to make it very difficult to fire in a pocket or purse. I generally carry it in a case, so I haven't tried that. I did adjust the tension a little when I first got it so I could stand it up without the button being depressed. My experience with the batteries may not be the same for others. I do change the battery out at the first sign of the battery strength going down - i.e. when it becomes more difficult to draw the vapor, when the vapor production is lessened, etc. But, yeah, I tend to get the 3-4 hours from one battery. Super T has the batteries for 6.99, and they may be available elsewhere as well. So, if you keep a few extras charged and ready, you shouldn't have any issues. I would recommend that anyway, especially if you don't have other pv's to carry you over.

And, thanks for NCC for posting the pic! I was, admittedly, too involved in watching Survivor to do it! :D

PS - The trigger being on the bottom is not awkward for me. It took a day or two to get used to it because I was used the button being on the side, but it is fine for me. :)

hmm.. the eGo stands true for me, the battery lasts all day and I vape hard, which of the "high end" mods has that kind of battery life? and also, how does the Precise stack up against the Precious L..

Side note, the ProVape ProVari was awesome until I saw pictures of it.. Looks like you'd be vaping out of a flashlight with a LED screen on it.

Is there any other american brands that make a quality product similar to the Precise?

Lastly, what's the ideal size (example 16340 or 18650 ) for a long lasting, not too big PV..

Really appreciating the info guys, I'm sure with all these views you're helping a lot more people than just me.
